RAW's Tag Division saved?
OK, maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here, but I'm going to make a few assumptions.
1. Eugene is back on RAW If so, you have his team with Tatanka all ready to go. It could work just because of the pure cheese of it. But if you want to get serious, turn Eugene heel by revealing he is really Nick Dinsmore, and have him join fellow conman, Rob Conway as "The Lords of the Ring". Instant credible heel team with talent. 2. People have forgotten Doug Basham is supposed to be on SmackDown! I think The Basham Brothers are destined for bigger and better things than being simple tag team guys, but if Doug & Danny were allowed to be on RAW as their own characters, with different looks, I think they could get over huge as seperate individuals. Sort of like Edge & Christian were brothers, but had their notable differences. If just for a few months, I'd put Doug Basham on RAW as part of a Triple H/Vince McMahon-backing stable. 3. Charlie Haas in on the way back If this is true, and I really hope it is, I can see no better team for RAW than these guys. Shelton Benjamin has come onto his own as a performer, but the WWE again see clueless as to where they need to take the guy. So even if, much like The Basham Brothers, it is only for their inevitable split and feud, I would love to see The World's Greatest Tag Team back together. Add these three teams to The Heart Throbs, Val Venis & Viscera, Tyson Tomko & Snitsky and 3 Minute Warning, and you have yourself a *shock* 7-Team Division. For once all the pieces seem aligned for the RAW tag division. All that remains to be seen if if the WWE plays it out. Pfft |
