So, i got a Xbox 360 and setting it up to link with my PC via MediaConnect...but....
the stupid 360 wont recognize the computer, so i cant stream shit to my system. Anyone else have this problem? Im running my 360 to my router via cat5 cable, and my router is going to my comp wirelessly. The proper ports are opened. Ive checked IP & MAC addys and they match, any clue guys?

here's how my wires go

Computer to router
360 to router
Router to modem

I used to get a connection problem too, but I just unplugged the modem and router for a few seconds, and when I plugged them back in it was working fine.

Of course that was the last thing I did. Originally, I was too busy lookin' up people's similar problems at forums and shit saying all kindsa crap. I dunno, maybe my problem wasn't the same as yours. But give it a shot at resetting everything anyway.

I got the same problem exept for ps2...
i got a cat5 and set up disk...
put cat5 in the back of my slimline then the back of my modem...
doesn't work
