SD Spoilers

One of my AIM buddies went to SD, here is what he posted at a diff. board:

I attended the sold out taping of Smackdown! Here are my observations and results of the show.

Velocity (Might be a dark match in here)

The Gymini w/ Simon Dean d. Two jobbers

4'1" Midget in White d. 4'2" Ninja Midget

Tatanka d. Jobber

London/Kendrick d. The Dicks

Super Crazy w/ Psychosis d. Nunzio w/ Big Vito
- I lost track due to a ticket dispute in front of me
- A Super Crazy chant from the fans

Smackdown!

Rey Mysterio d. Sylvan Grenier
- Orton showed up afterwards and said he would beat up Rey right now if he didn't have a concussion from last week.
- Orton remarked about nothing can take away Eddie's accomplishments but Rey will never beat him.

Angle/Rey promo backstage
- Angle told Rey to "never say never" and it would be his honor to face Rey at WrestleMania
- Mark Henry w/ Davari interrupts and tells Angle to worry about surviving tonight.

The Boogeyman d. Orlando Jordan
- OJ claims he is the greatest athlete in SD history and can beat anyone from the back.
- Squash match, Boogeyman leaves worms lying over OJ's neck.

Show the press conference for NWO
- Randy Orton: "In advance, I dedicate my win over Rey Mysterio to Eddie Guerrero." (Just had to put that in to soften the Orton hate some.)

Backstage segment
- Gregory Helms tell the Crusiers to "watch and learn"

Crusierweight Title Match
Gregory Helms d. Scotty 2 Hotty
- Lots of Scotty chants
- post match Helms gets beat up by all the Crusiers (didn't see Kid Kash) finished off with Scotty's Worm finisher.
(I noticed a part that probably won't make TV where as the Crusiers were walking back and Super Crazy said something to Paul London, turned his back and Paul London started mocking him and then made a fist like he wanted to punch Super Crazy)

Backstage Segment
- Match for No Way Out: Crusierweight Title: Gregory Helms v. all the Crusierweights

Interview Kristal w/ Paul Burchill
- Kennedy interupts and tosses Kristal aside and taunts Burchill, then has to retract due to Burchill's sword across his neck.

Finlay/JBL w/Jillian d. Lashley/Benoit (Booker T and Sharmell commentating)
- JBL surprisingly got a mixed pop at his intro
- noticeable ring apron incident with Benoit's foot getting caught in it
- Booker chair shot on Benoit causes JBL to be able pin Benoit for the win

Matt Hardy d. Simon Dean w/ The Gymini
- The Gymini were ejected in the middle of the match

Backstage Segment
- Matt Hardy tells Melina that he accepts her offer
- Not the mutual assistance one, but the MNM can beat any two guys
- NWO Match: Tag Title Match: MNM v. Matt Hardy and a partner of his choice

Video showing Bret Hart as a Class of 2006 inductee in the Hall of Fame

Kurt Angle/Undertaker d. MNM/Mark Henry w/ Melina and Davari
- that short skirt Melina is wearing doesn't hide anything if you have the right view. angie.gif
- Angle and Undertaker play a game of one-upsmanship with MNM in the corners
- Stare down and then both tossed out of the ring by Henry
- Angle gets the ankle lock on one of MNM
- afterwards Taker tombstones Henry

Post Taping
Fatal Fourway
Angle v. Taker v. Henry v. Orton
- Henry got booed when his name was announced for the matchup
- Orton still shows he is scared of Taker
- Rey Mysterio chased off Orton to the back
- Angle pins Henry b/c Davari pulled Taker away from breaking it up
- Taker stares down Henry and Taker
- Long Taker walk to the back

all this time i wanted to know wether the fan voices we hear in the tv are they for real or they are edited. For example at Royal Rumble this year when Cena regained the Raw title the popups we saw on tv were not live they were recorded from a prior wwe main event as per sources.

That was never confirmed.

And the WWE always uses the same exact same crowd response to dub in. There is a distinct high-pitched pop in it that I hear at least five times on every SmackDown!...

Why did the writers do that? They had OJ in the U.S Title scene and he was becoming a face. Then they make him heel again, and make him job. Another waste.

I like what they're doing with Helms.

Hopefully the WWE will take that as a sign that people actually like Scotty. Maybe let him have the Crusierweight Title for a couple of weeks and make Helms win it back. But I doubt they will.

I doubt Super Crazy and London will be in the match at NWO together if they actually do hate each other.

At first I thought that making Burchill a pirate was going to kill his career. But it's actually turning out to be a good thing. hopfully, as soon as Kennedy has heeled, we can see a Burchill/Kennedy feud.

ROFLMAO

And "Helms vs all the cruiserweights" sounds pretty funny. But at least the CW Division is getting attention.

Sounds like a good show, actually. Much better than RAW this week. And it's good they at least softened up Orton, since it was obvious that they crossed the line. In this case, softening up the heel is ok.

Here's a clip of it. It's only the end of SmackDown! and then Orton's entrance.
