Best & Worst Commercials
The time is upon us once again, it being a new year and all, for a best and worst commercials thread.

Fortunately, I have DVR and I rarely watch live television, and do not have to suffer through commercials. So there are probably a few good ones and bad ones that i have not seen.

IMO hands down, the best commercial on television today (and for the last year or so) is the GEICO Cave Men - the one at the fancy restaurant. Damn, that shit is funny. Even the acting is not bad.

Sexual exploitation, reverse sexism, boring cars, and ads that seem to have nothing to do with the product they advertise...there are a lot of bad commercials, as always. At least the Fantanas are off the air for now.

One particularly revolting commercial was advertising some sort of women's sports drink, high in calcium i think. anyway, these two middle aged women are in a grocery store and they meet at a stack of this new sports drink for women. the first lady grabs one case and puts it in her grocery cart. not to be outdone, the second lady grabs two cases. then the first lady grabs like four cases. they go back and forth like this until finally the second lady picks up the remainder of the cases (it would have to have weighed half a ton) and places it in her shopping cart. And then (to be declared the winner) the first lady picks up a nearby stock boy and puts him in her cart (I guess she's gonna take him out back and fuck him) and she gets a nod of approval from broad number 2.

Honorable mention: Pizza commercial with Jessica Simpson, "These bits were made for boppin'" or some such nonsense.

The gag in that sports drink one is that it is two of the women from Desperate Housewives

Doesn't make it much funnier, but thats the gag

The best advert on UK tv is CILIT BANG! with barry scott, just because it's so shit it's great.

The Gatoraid commerical where they have like a book (I guess?) with its pages turning in the wind. Each page is a different video, and its all stuff that isnt suppose to happen, like Spudd Webb dunking or curses being broken (Red Sox ) and at the end it says "If it all went down like it was suppose to, why would anyone play?"
