Just thought I'd point out...
That it seems like no one around here likes The Eagles (and dont go trying to bring up the "Eagles of Death Metal"). This is a problem.

Someone's got some explaining to do.

The Eagles are excellent. I think I included them in my giant list of "Important Bands Of The '60s/'70s" or whatever that thread was that AAA started a couple of months back.

I'd probably put them in my top twenty of all-time. "Hotel California," "Take It Easy," "Desperado." Good stuff.

I could never get excited about them really. I don't know, no song by them has ever struck me as anything great except "Hotel California" (which is an incredible song).

The Eagles, along with others like U2, Dave Matthews Band, and Pink Floyd aqre bands that I absolutly hate for no reason at all..

They annoy me for reasons I can't put my finger on..

p.s. I do like Floyd's Comfortably Numb though..

I don't mind The Eagles. They are a pretty decent band with some decent tunes. One of my favorites or anything that stands out? No.
