Weird thing about Madden 06 on Xbox (not 360).

Hey everyone.

This is the second time I've gotten this error. Knock on wood, I've ONLY seen it on Superstar mode, and only the first time I save my created player. Now, my pre-existing superstars don't do this, and my created ones don't do it ALL of the time.

I created a QB last night, who was drafted by the Lions. I saved, and got a message that said "The hard disk in hard disk is unusable. You may access it from the Xbox dashboard"...then I was given the option to continue or retry. I retried, and it said the file was saved.

I go to load it again to make sure it works, and I get "???" instead of "Superstar1, 2", etc. Out beside it, where the date/time of the save is located, it simply says "Corrupted Save". I delete it, and nothing else is screwed up.

This only happens every now and then, and I've only seen it in Superstar mode. Is this a sign that my Xbox is going bad, a freak thing with the game, or just the usual save corruption thing that happens from time to time on games?

If anyone knows ANYTHING about this, it's appreciated. Kind of making me a nervous wreck. I wasn't sure if it was just a fluke thing or what. It seems like both times I had the problem, I was drafted to the Lions, but I could be mistaken (I'm hoping it's not some kind of TEAM specific bug, although I find that unlikely for some reason).

Any help is appreciated.

Hey, Xbox owns.

Too bad the 360 sucks, but still. At least the first one has good games.

I went ahead and ordered a copy on PS2, as much as I hate to. I know the loading times will be worse, and the graphics will be slightly worse, and Madden completely takes up a whole memory card to itself practically, but I'm desperate for NFL action.

I'm playing it on Xbox as we speak, and I haven't seen the error since I posted this topic (and like I said, it was only the second time I'd ever seen it). Still really nerveracking though.
