Always wondered.

What in the hell is "Nature Boy" supposed to mean? The only other time I can think of it being used was in a few Bugs Bunny cartoons, when he was being chased around by some sort of caveman or mid-sized ape.

Flair got it from...

"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers

[...] He bleached his hair and was given the moniker "Nature Boy" by promoter Jack Pfeffer after the popular jazz song.

The Song...

"Nature Boy" is a song by Eden Ahbez, published in 1947. The song's melody is based on a Yiddish tune, "Schweig Mein Hertz" ("Be Still My Heart").

That's where it goes back to the end. That's who the song was written about. I had read a little on him a while back, something about him sleeping under the Hollywood sign.
