Why we used to watch wrestling
Remember when every night you thought something that would change the wrestling world might happen? That was the time when we watched the most. The wrestling was good, but probably not as good as now, the stories were excellent but not soap opera esque. There was the bad guys we cheered for and the good guys who we secretly hoped wouldn't suceed in stopping the nWo from changing wrestling. History was made just about everynight and all things were good. The DX was pushing limits and the nWo was breaking rules.

What could WWE do to bring that back?

I used to watch it for cartoony guys with spray-on tans and physiques that only come from a needle.

I watch wrestling now for the chance they may bring in a robot.. or ECW.. we watched ECW because ECW was beautiful.. it was deep and meaningful... at least in pro wrestling standards
