Just watched this week's SmackDown! *SPOILERS*

I think they'll building towards something for Mania between MNM, Paul London & Brian Kendrick, The Mexicools and Orlando Jordan & Sylvan. In the Last Chance Battle Royal, Orlando Jordan & Sylvan were both eliminated by tag teams (Sylvan by Paul London & Brian Kendrick, Orlando Jordan by The Mexicools). Paul London and Psicosis eliminated each other. MNM eliminated Brian Kendrick.

I see a #1 Contender's Match for the Tag Titles taking place next week on SmackDown!, with "The Rocky Johnson's" crashing it. Theodore Long says that all three teams will challenge MNM at WrestleMania. The WWE may put this match on the card, because precedent as shown that they like Fatal Fourway Tag Team Matches on the WM card, and Sylvan & Orlando Jordan have both been fratured steadily by the WWE over the past year.

By the way, Paul Burchill is awesome. As is William Regal. I hope they get a match together at WrestleMania. I also think I should point out the awesomeness of Simon Dean. The guy got chucked out of the Last Chance Battle Royal by Bobby Lashley, and he landed on The Gymini (also eliminated by Lashley), and The Gymini caught him, and Simon Dean landed rather gently. It looked awkward, so I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but Simon Dean then put his hands in the air as if to say "YES! I'm OK!". That man needs a push.

Pfft

If there's a Burchill match and that Tag match the show is going to last over 5 hours at this rate!

Not really. I added it all up, and you get around 185 minutes at the most.

It would be good for smackdown to another match on the card. At the moment I think Raw as an extra match.

If there is a smackdown tag team match it would serve as an fantastic opener

LOL! Nah, that's just my name for Orlando Jordan & Sylvan, since they were both trained by Rocky Johnson (I think). If they came out dressed like Rocky Johnson, I would mark out.

185 minutes without skits and videos, sure, but this is WrestleMania, I really think the WWE is best keeping the action focused on the ring. Some backstage spots are fun, but if they do too many, it won't feel like WrestleMania as much some random show.

The WWE doesn't need to recap every feud, either. Maybe have a video showing us the story between Edge & Mick Foley and Vince McMahon & Shawn Michaels. The title matches, even Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James, don't need anything to really hype them. WrestleMania should be hype enough.

I just want to see the WWE address Paul London & Brian Kendrick's connection to Shawn Michaels. If the WWE wants to get them over as a tag team, have Paul London & Brian Kendrick win the WWE Tag Team Championship in a solid match at WrestleMania, then have Shawn Michaels congradulate them in the back. Then have him whisper something like "stay away from windows" to Paul London.

I would mark out if Burchill runs in during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and "plunders" the treasure. They need to do something with this man at Mania, whether that be having him participate in a match with Regal, confronting Edge & "Yo-Ho-Ho" Lita and calling himself "The Rated ARGH! Superstar" or something else.

I would have totally marked out if that happened. I'd even go as far as have Burchill eliminate a member of MNM, Lashley eliminate a member, then have a final sequence with the two faces. Burchill could do something crazy out of the ring. Belly-to-belly overhead suplex over the top rope taking out MNM anyone?

The Smackdown tag titles should be on the card even if it's only a 3/4 way filler match like WMXX, its easily been the stronger of the two tag belts,

Wishful thinking at this stage, but I was hoping they'd somehow put together a TLC match with London/ kendrick Vs Mexicools Vs MNM.

I can see Sylvan and OJ being a team, only because if they do actually give OJ the bi gimmick, Sylvan seems to suit the role for his "partner"

That means you're looking at another 150 minutes just for everything else (The non-wrestling content was about 40% of the show over the last couple of Manias). Unless they cut down on story elements, filler, etc., and the trend has been the opposite, they'll overrun.

Yeah, I was wondering the percentage of WrestleMania that was actually wrestling. You'd think they'd make it at least 80% wrestling, even if that ratio drops after WrestleMania. It would truly make WrestleMania special if the cameras didn't leave the ringside area. Between matches, maybe have some kind of promo for Backlash air, something for Judgment Day, something for ECW One Night Stand, something for Summerslam and for the others have the commentators talk about the match, and have them talk about their picks to win.

If the percentage of wrestling at WrestleMania has only been 40%, then they won't be able to add much of anything.

It's closer to 60% wrestling. I never sat down and timed it exactly, but it's ABOUT 60-40, meaning there's still SOMEWHAT more wrestling, but they seem to be pushing elsewhere.

I'd probably chain orgasm if I saw a PPV with more like 80% matches.

MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Mexicools was on my fantasy WrestleMania card as well.

Instead of doing a Money in the Bank Ladder Match, I'd have done a Battle Royal. You can have dissolved a lot of the current card and had them furthered in the MITBBR. Sure, WrestleMania is supposed to be the blow-off show, but a lot of these programs will continue post-WrestleMania, anyway.

Kane, Big Show, Carlito, Chris Masters, Edge, Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, Ric Flair, Kenny, Johnny, Mikey, Nicky, Mitch, Eugene & Matt Striker from RAW. Finlay, Matt Hardy, Bobby Lashley, JBL, Booker T, The Boogeyman, Paul Burchill, William Regal, The Road Warrior, Orlando Jordan, Jamie Noble, Kid Kash, Nunzio, Sylvan & Charlie Haas as a surprise entrant for SmackDown!. That way you can have the TLC Match, plus have a potentially classic Champion vs. Champion match when Chris Benoit faces Shelton Benjamin.

I am still hoping MNM vs. London & Kendrick vs. The Mexicools makes it onto the Judgment Day card.

I mean, you need some downtime between matches to set up pyros and such, but a lot of the times, it's so fluffed.

If they're continuing a storyline, that's fine, but all the shit they toss in...

60-40 still isn't brilliant. I think the roster split has hurt the WWE as far as WrestleMania goes, because they build up more talent, true, but they then are limited by the fact they've forgotten how to put on a wrestling show, and not everything fits in.

This WrestleMania won't be the one to change that, I know, but if they somehow work out ways to cut down certain matches that don't need length to be effective (Booker T vs. The Boogeyman for example), then they might be able to squeeze more talent into the show.

Exactly. If they have five promos where Vince McMahon talks to Divas about how he is going to dismantle Shawn Michaels, I am going to be pissed off.
