Wow, I just realized that this is what MUST happen. That's if they really wanna salvage Cena. I think HHH can afford another face turn. He's been a heel for long enough, plus, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be around for while in the WWE so another face turn won't hurt.

HHH can't turn face. After all the shit he's done over the past two years, I really don't see how anyone could buy him as a babyface again. Not to mention it's pretty much common knowledge that he's married to Stephanie, so that only makes people hate him more.

If the HHH/Cena match was the semi-main event, Cena could win by cheating, and then cut a promo ripping on the fans; followed by the MITB winner coming out to challenge for the belt and winning it. Not only would this turn Cena heel (which he desperately needs), but it would elevate another talent (RVD winning in Chicago would be huge), and it would make for a very, very interesting RAW.

I live in Ottawa and I've never heard about him being a sports talk show host. He's most likely on a crappy local community channel that no one watches. Since he used to play pro football here it's somewhat funny that our pro team is probably folding this year again (We had a pro football team fold here a few years ago).

He's being cheered simply because of who he's up against; a vanilla white babyface with a heart of gold. Nobody wants to see that. They want to see somebody, anybody (even Triple H) kick his fucking ass.

Now, if the feud leading into Mania was Triple H/Benjamin, or Triple H/Michaels, or even Triple H/RVD, he definitely would not be recieving cheers.

And you can't base anything on the reactions he's been getting lately, because they're not booking him as a face. If they started to actually book him as a babyface, with him attacking and cutting promos on heels, I don't think many people would buy it. We're all way to used to booing Triple H; he's done so many fucked up things in the past few years, how are we ever supposed to cheer him?

Not to mention that he's been built up as the ONLY tough, legitimately dangerous main event heel (Edge? No. JBL? No. Randy Orton? No. Chris Masters? Carlito? No way.), so as logic dictates, he would need a HUGE heel to feud with to make anything he does seem interesting. Who's going to have a legitimate feud with a face Triple H? Who's going to look strong enough?

I dunno, Triple H turning face wouldn't be the end of the world. If they keep him as the same character and don't have him go good, it should work. Have him simply state that his spot is at the top playing politics, and John Cena has taken that from him, so he's going to make him pay. Youc ould even have John Cena revealed to be the father of Stephanie's baby. Instant heat.

Edge might be able to pull boos against Triple H, too. Hunter doesn't have too many programs before he goes off to be a full-time father and husband for a bit, so a feud with Cena then a feud with Edge is all I see on the horizon for Triple H.

By the way, on topic, I think a double turn is the worst idea since...uh...can't really remember. Triple H is a heel. He can play a heel. Turning him into a bland face is actually more damaging then just keeping Cena a bland face. Triple H is literally the only 100% solid performer they have, as in they get the reactions they need, they are over, and they can work in the ring. No one else has that presence of absolutly belonging where they are.

In retrospect, maybe turning HHH face isn't the best idea, but I still think turning Cena heel is a great idea.
