Let me just say that i fucking hate this shit. People acting and/or falling on the ground when not forced. What a bunch of pussies. The NBA back in the '80s or before that never did it. Thats why i think that the NBA was tougher back then. People like Horry, Divac, etc. i can't stand them because this is the best thing they do.

Fuck FLOPPING. If i was a ref, i'd look at the player like he was a jackass.

The dress code is a good thing though, it's basically saying you can't wear a tshirt - that's all it is. I think it's good because it just makes the game look better, especially when guys are injuried and they keep showing them on TV (like a star player, like when Nash was out or Stodemire) Makes them look way more presentable then just some random dudes in tshirts.

I guess. The dress code thing messed with my head when they were going through the list. I swear on everything that it basically said "don't dress like a young, black guy lol. Players that flop, dive, whatever you want to call it, should be given a foul, penalty, whatever. Unsportsmanlike. They do it in hockey, not as much as I'd like, but you cut down on that shit when you call the diver

Yeah I'm glad the NHL has the diving rule in, would like it called more though.


Last season's (maybe the year before?) playoffs, in the Montreal-Boston matchup, that one call where Ribiero totally fucking dove on a play and got a penalty shot called (I forget the exact situation but you'll probably know what I mean) then like right after the call he got up and was taunting the Bruins. OMG ever since then I've hated him and that opinion will probably never change. Terrible how players do shit like that, just lessens professionalism of any sport

He also took a dive and pretended to be injured to get a stopage in play when Boston was pressing in one of the games it was pathetic he lay there like he was in serious pain and then when the whistle blew he got up right away and walked to the bench without any discomfort.

The Indiana Nets series might be 3-1 Indy if it wasnt for the Nets unique ability to flop every time down the floor.

I seriously think that if they called fouls on flops. The Nets probably wouldnt be in the playoffs.

That series had a pretty sweet ending to one of the games. One of the Montreal players tried to fake an injury and he actaully ended up hitting a dude from his own team which allowed the Bruins to score and win the game.

I've noticed recently that Dwayne Wade is one of the biggest floppers in the league. Interestingly enough, the thing that tipped me off was that commercial that shows how tough he is by showing how many times he's been knocked down.

I watched it and thought "Huh. Those fouls aren't all that hard. He just kinda falls down a lot." Then, watching his "hip injury" in last night's game, then his heroic comeback, Willis Reed must've been rolling over in his...bed.

So does anybody else who attacks the rim like he does, though. I wouldn't say he draws any more contact than somebody like Kobe or LeBron or Shawn Marion. But he spends more time on the deck than any of them.
