If your best friend was The Undertaker, you were the only legit Main Event heel left on your brand, and you had been with the company for a decade...you might think you have some backstage power too.

I don't know what everyone's big deal about Hazing is. I am so sick of hearing about Kids getting suspended or some shit from High School cause of hazing. Face it, both the people getting it and dishing it know what's going on. It's a way of acceptance. Personally I have no problems with hazing, it's a bonding experience, does it hurt usually? Yeah. But when it's over you have a connection with them. Call me crazy, but hurting people and sex are very similar. Both are terrible if one of the parties doesn't want it, but if both are cool with whats going down it can be a great bonding thing.

Even so, the hazing can go too far even when they're both "consenting". I wouldn't want pine cones and brooms shoved up my ass just to be "one of the guys" (which was a fairly big story a few years back).

There are bonding experiences that don't often end in serious injury or death.

My football team hazed someone by sodomising him with permanent markers after ass-fucking him. Even the Spartans (Who did a lot of ass-fucking) had more civilised ways of promoting "Gestalt."

The stories we've been hearing over the past few years regarding JBL and Holly don't sound consenting on both sides to me.

Hazing in wrestling is 50% willing, 50% forced. Kinda like sex. There. I finally made the analogy that Wrestling = Sex.

I have had to go through some hazing before. It's dumb and pointless, but then when it was my turn I turned around and did it to the next guys. It's what happens. Beer bottles go up people's asses sometimes. Once in a while you push a penny with your noise across a buildoing while being paddled. Every now and again some people dress up in a Little Bo-Peep outfits and allow some of their new friends to kick them in the nuts. I have no problem with hazing, short of killing someone I doubt I ever will. For a lot of groups of people it's a time honored tradition. That's what makes it so great, these guys arn't doing anything that the people giving the hazing didn't do before. It's funny, it's degrading, and it connects people.

There was a girl here in Cali a couple years back that got her head beat in with a baseball bat during a hazing process for a high school cheerleading team. Sorry, but no. I think that is a case of going too far. Maybe I should have included "Rape and permanate injury" to the list of things I think is going too far...but I will defend that a certain level of hazing is not bad. There is something to be said about a group of friends who would allow their friends to abuse them in a way...I don't know how, maybe it is just a mind set I am in, but I think that hazing is just a form of bonding. I have no problems with conventional hazing...which usually means embarassment and a little bit of pain...if it goes to life altering situations, then you're right, way too far. But the shit I mentioned, that's funny, it's painful, and it somehow makes me feel closer to some of the people who I have called "friend" in my lifetime. You then have a few jokes about you, you find out what others had to do, you all joke about it, open a few beers and know that you two share something that no one else in your life will ever be able to share or understand.

Maybe that's the problem. Part of hazing is the bond that nobody is supposed to udnerstand. Should I know why I enjoy Scooby (a friend of mine) who made wear a thong while everyone gave me Buddah Palms? No. That was horrible mean thing to do, and yet, I love Scooby and all the boys who did that to me. I didn't mind when they were doing it because I knew it was all in good fun...good fun at my expense...but on the flip side I knew all of them had been in the same boat before. It doesn't make sense, I don't think it is suposed to make sense, but it is what it is, and so long as someone is rapped, dead, or injured by the end of it...it's perfectly ok in my books.

Pain and shoving things up somebody's ass is going too far. I have played on a lot of Sports teams and I have never had to have anything up my shitter. You carry bags, eat gross shit, run around naked, drink a lot, and do stupid stuff. Anything physical is going too far. That clip on youtube of that dude getting chops is about as far as pain should ever go. Anything beyond that is assault.

Yeah basically. When I first got into high school sports, I had to do one thing. Survive the "Green Team". Which is basically the scrub squad. B Team. Third stringers. I had to get the ever living crap knocked out of me every day minus Friday, and I had to survive it. I would then have to do other small things, like let the Seniors go ahead of me, basically it's a seniority thing. They would every once in a while try and get me to do something pretty crazy, and it always depended on what it was and how crazy it was and if I wanted to do it or not, I never did anything that would hurt me in any way. Hazing is pretty ridiculous, and it always makes me think of those ridiculous frat guys. Have to be a part of a ridiculous group and pay to be a part of a clique who everyone thinks is terrible anyway.

For the record, I am not saying that everyone has to be unboard with hazing. It's a stupid (I admit it's stupid) thing that certain groups of people feel they are exclusive enough to do. I don't have a problem with it since usually the person getting hazed knows what they are doing and getting into when they do it. I don't think it is needed, nor do I think it is the only way to bond with someone...while we are on the topic of bonding, I don't think getting butt fucked by another straight guy is much of a bonding experience. I think it's one or more closet cases who are too ashamed or scared. I don't think it is needed, but I also don't think that traditional hazing (no killing, raping, or permanite injury) should be an issue with anyone other then the hazzies and the hazzers.

Man, this is being taken way to seriously, when I first started training and doing wrestling shows, I got hazed a bit. Bare chested chops, like in the video, being powerbombed for 'photo' purposes (took about 15 powerbombs off a Scottish wrestler called Highlander) fuck I was in pain after, but I said nothing and got on with it, stuff like this happens in Wrestling. It's mostly in fun and paying your dues.
