Greatest Champions...

Who do you think have been the best Champs. I am not saying they mayb have been the besy wrestlers, but who put the titles over the best? You can pick any title, just say who made the belt seem the most worth while...

I'll start with an easy one, Rob Van Dam was the best thing to ever happen to the ECW Television Championship...

neuicon does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Kurt Angle, of course, Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Eddie Guererro, Macho King Randy Savage, Ric Flair, The Rock, Triple H (When he was fit), Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels...

...and those were all WWF Champions. That's right, with the "F"!!

You kind of listed a lot of guys, I was looking for more who did the most to elevate the specific title...which not to be a pain in the ass, Benoit never held the WWF Championship, and Ric Flair (as much as I do love him) did jack shit to increase the value of the belt.

Also if your making a big deal about the "WWF" then Eddie never held it either...

LOL!! Yer right... ...yeah, I thought ahead of myself. Sorry mate...

One Superstar for me would just have to be Kurt Angle. The guys showed us that coming into the business, he picked up quickly and learned the styles needed to bring to the WW"F"... ...LOL!!

Kurt held it strongly, and does a great job with promos, his skills are far greater than most in the business today and then for that matter.

Kurt also does a great job putting others over in the ring, and also goes to far lengths to take care of those he faces as well.

So for me if it was one... ...would be Kurt Angle.

I dunno One. I would make the same exact argument for the Ultimate Warrior/IC Title that you would probably make for Goldberg/US Title. I agree with you on Goldberg. To me, Warrior made that IC Belt seem as big as The World Title. Same with Goldberg.

Other easy choices for me

Crusier: Jericho
Euro: Bulldog
TV: Tully

Warrior was a FANTASTIC IC Champ. Personally I think Hall was far better, but no doubt he elevated the title a lot.

While we are on it I think Warrior is one of the most under appreciated wrestlers of all time by Smarks.

I think I just hated 1995 so much that Hall's reign will always suffer with me. He was a great champ though.

The TV Title had been around since like the 70's. Wayyyy longer then both Hardcore Titles and the Euro Title.

LOL Yea, Crash for the Hardcore belt. Everyone loved that belt when he had it. That was so awesome.

Also, RVD, Taz and Dudleys for the ECW Titles like Goulet had

WWE/World: Hulk Hogan, even though I hate the guy. He was the champ that brought pro wrestling mainstream. Can't think of anything more elevating than that.
IC: Ultimate Warrior...especially after winning the WWF Title while being IC Champ.
