What's up with this Nintendo DS?


I've heard nothing about this. Was it a concept for the DS? Is it in the works? It looks too similar to the GBA SP. Anyone?

It's a fan-based mockup. When the new DS was rumoured to be coming out (EG the day after the DS was announced in the first place), people started making mockups of a new DS.

Some got passed off as real because people are too retarded to know better.

Last year, Nintendo announced a remake DS (which turned out to be the DS Lite). This is a fan concept that surfaced shortly afterwards, it's never been close to official.

You know, lookingat this mock up, the thing wouldn't be stable. The sides would keep faling over after a while and you'd get frustrated.

the only good thing i see with this design is the analogue stick... which should be able to pull up
