Top 5 Pros and Cons of the WWE

That;s right...The best AND worst of the WWE...5 pros and cons for each show, or 5 total, whichever way you wanna do it...

I'll post mine later...

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Top 5 Pros:

1) The most talented group of wrestlers ever assembled (IMO)
2) Potential for excellent "dream" matches left and right
3) Veritable hype machine when it comes to promoting events or new wrestlers
4) Ties with OVW, which basically means a constant flow of new up-and-coming talent
5) The better shows are flat-out excellent

Top 5 Cons:

1) Politics weighing down the entire promotion
2) Appalling mis-management of talent
3) Ridiculous overuse of swerves and bait-and-switch tactics that piss the crowd off
4) Not only giving fans what they don't want, but growing absolutely hostile towards dedicated viewers
5) The worse shows are worthy of inductions into Wrestlecrap

Pros.
1. Benoit finally getting his time.
2. New stars being developed (ex:Orton/Cena)
3. Eddie getting the push he should have had months ago when his popularity was sky high.
4. HBK wrestling full time.
5. Both Raw & SD are both putting on quality shows at the moment.

Cons.
1.HHH
2.HHH
3.Big Show having the US Title and never defending it
4. WWE not really down with the cruiserweight division. Gotta give them more than more time in the ring...pissed they buried Dragon. I was hoping for a Rey/Dragon feud.
5. Crappy tag division on Raw.

Pros:

1) Benoit's push.
2) Guererro's singles push/upcoming feud with Angle.
3) The Undertaker's return - I love it.
4) Orton is really selling a fear of Foley, without being a total puss. They are doing great on this angle.
5) Austin on RAW. I'm not sure about the 'sheriff' thing but he cracks me up.

Cons:

1) RAW constantly burying Smackdown.
2) Triple H has the belt.
3) No full-time Rock
4) Camera angles
5) The hoss factor

These are in no particular order.

Pros:
  1. The influx of new talent over the last two years (Lesnar, Orton, Cena, Dupree/Conway/Grenier, Cade, Jordan, etc.)
  2. Paul Heyman in a prominent TV role (and with a little REAL authority!)
  3. The two #1 contenders? Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero!
  4. A well-booked Royal Rumble match that legitimized almost every participant.
  5. The three-man RAW announce team. Coach definitely takes some of the edge off of having to listen to Ross and Lawler for two hours.

Cons:
  1. Having to listen to Ross and Lawler for two hours.
  2. Steve Austin in a prominent TV role (and with authority!)
  3. Backstage politics
  4. A three-man Cruiserweight division with a dozen cruisers buried on Velocity
  5. The Golden Box of Unused Gimmicks not being entirely a joke

I agree with those to the fullest, but my #5 reason would be Orton's super push.

I personally don't mind Orton. He's no Bret Hart or anything, but he's proven he can work a good match, and getting air-time with Ric Flair is only going to make him better on the mic. He may be overpushed now, but I'd rather see him main eventing than Mark Henry or Goldberg.

True...I think the thing that bugs me about him is that he was given Booker T's and Christian's push.

^ Agreed. I'd much rather see Christian or Booker (Xtian especially) in that slot. But, when you consider the other alternatives, Orton isn't all that bad.
