Is there any way to delete things on CD-R disks at all?

Don't buy CD-RWs because they are pretty pointless. You can only write on them a few times before you have to throw them away anyways so you're better off getting the cheaper CD-Rs. If you are transferring data that much that you need CD-RWs then get a flash drive. More storage and better read/write speeds.

I have 3 RW's that i bought 2 years ago and I'm still using them.

But yeah, get a flash drive. A 512 MB or a 1 Gig preferably.

I'm not saying they only last 3-4 times, so maybe few wasn't the right word choice, but depending on the size and frequent usage, CD-RWs will only work well for a shorter time then expected. You're still better off with a flash drive and CD-Rs.

I agree on bot h counts, just disagreed with the math.

There was a brief period during which RWs were actually the best option. But Flash tech has become so much cheaper, there's no real point.
