Installed in pairs of modules
I got this notice in regards to what my computer could use for memory when I checked it.
Anyone know if this means I've got to install memory chips in a pair of slots at once, or do they just mean that the slots themselves were installed in pairs? I've got four total slots, and 2 are free right now. I need to upgrade my memory for recording, and I don't want to buy more than I have to. “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |

It means you have to install in pairs, which is what most machines require now.

Thanks, BTW. I ordered what I needed based on that.
