Possible Marvel/Pixar collaboration in near future...

Marvel and Pixar Animation have met recently regarding the possibility of developing animated films based on the Marvel characters. It was recently announced that Pixar will end their relationship with Disney following the release of their next two animated features.

Marvel vice chairman Peter Cuneo said:

"Pixar has an incredible record. We're seven for seven right now. As long as we continue to make good films, we'll be successful. It has nothing to do with the genre wearing out."

Marvel's goal is to develop 15 "James Bond type" film franchises.

That would be great.
The Incredibles looks brilliant, being about Superheroes and all.

They might actually be able to save the Incredible Hulk movie franchise.

And if they ever decide to do The Avengers, it would be a whole lot better than live action, IMO.

The only 3 series that I'd like to see remain as live action are Punisher, X-Men and Spider-Man.

Wow, kinda shocking that Pixar would break from Disney...

Definitely sweet news though. It's obvious Marvel can draw in big sales in movies.

For sure. Like I said before, a Pixar Thor would be sweet, and now that I think about it, so would a Secret War movie. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about trying line up a cast of 30 actors. Hell, they could even get the actors from the live-action movies to do VO for their character (Tobey Maguire, Hugh Jackman, etc.).
