Mario Kart. Come on, how many "kart" racing games has there been? And they're always other Mario like characters in go karts like Crash Bandicoot, Pac Man.

Try to keep these specific. If you list something like GTA, list specific games that are rip offs, and not just games that use the "do whatever you want whenever you want" style that GTA III helped revolutionize.
