So I've been playing Smackdown vs Raw '06 season mode and...

Yeah, way behind the times here.

Anyway, for whatever reason, the game freezes up when I have to have a brawl (w/ Christian on Raw and w/ Cena on Smackdown). So what's that all about?

Also, it's a rented copy.

Apparently not Funky Fly.

I'm at an irritating point on this game. I just went 3/4 of an hour beating up Kane in the Buried Alive match challenge but couldn't get the bar to go up. What's the strategy with the Buried Alive matches? He beat me on his first attempt which was as frustrating as fuck.

Funky Fly: You answered your own question when you said 'rented copy'. It's probably damaged. And no, no way to get Jake Roberts without a PSP or Gameshark.

Mackem: I found the best way to finish that was to either lure Kane to the casket or irish whip/hair drag him to it, go nuts with chokeslams, the DDT from his 'power' moveset, weapons and when you finally have one Smackdown icon and the momentum bar is full and flashing, irish whip Kane into the casket so he's leaning against it and then press L1. Undertaker should give him the mother of all chokeslams into the casket, avoiding that annoying mini-game.

Alternatively, you could get a second controller, I haven't tried it for myself, but I've heard that the challenges will accept two people attempting them, so you could play on one controller and leave the other controller dead for a easy win. But where's the fun in that? Anyway, good luck with it.

I did do it, doing the casket finisher made it a lot easier.

The reversing the casket, was a pain in the ass for me, as I finally tried to do it with two controllers, it took about 20 attempts, and does anyone remember that Brutus Beefcake-Bret Hart 3 minutes Cage Match Challenge from Smackdown vs Raw?
