I would love to book for a TV program.

First off, I think the whole "You think you could do better?" Argument is fucking retarded, because we know that a knowledge of wrestling isn't a requirement for the top wrestling shows on TV. Unless Spongebob started PCW (Pineapple Championship Wrestling), that is.

More than thinking I could do a better job, I'd love to have the chance, just the chance, to see the impact of my ideas on professional wrestling.

Here's the thing: Wrestling is shitty right now. I have trouble believing I, or Rob, or anyone else on these boards who say this shit could actually do worse. I bet Takerlover could probably book on par with Raw and Smackdown right now, that's how little respect I have for the job that's being done right now.

That said, it's natural to want a change, to wish to be proactive about it. People complain and come up with outlandish ideas out of a sort of desperation that something they've grown up on, something they love, go down the toilet. It's nerdy, it's a touch arrogant sometimes, but it's hardly the deal a lot of people make out of it.

Keep in mind, though, when you think "Oh, and you could do better?" That doing better at this point isn't saying anything, and I bet there isn't a single complainer on this board who wouldn't love a chance at actual creative control over the programming. There is no fucking chance in Hell, however, that any of us would ever get such control, even if the booking team was comprised of me, Xero, Alienoid, Paul Heyman, and Jesus. Vince would overrule us all, and have Katie Vick and Linda McMAhon in HLA.

That aside, I bet most people would do it. I sure as fuck would. And I'm not even saying it's an easy job to please millions of people, or to keep continuity. I'm just saying that at this point, the programming's not doing that anyway, so there's not much to lose. That, and I'd love the chance. Who wouldn't?

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Hence the phrase staff. I'ma whack him with one.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Nah, actually, I'd need at least two weeks so I could work a notice with my job. I'd be willing to pull something out of the playbook used for Vince Russo in 2002, though, and book from home, E-Mailing my ideas to Vince McMahon.

Instead of talking about "the things I would do," you could tell us what you would do. It would be more "proactive" than saying "I so could do better." Cause thats all you've done.

He dosnt have to tell us the things he would do. His point that almost everyone on thier boards could do could better than the crap the wwe writers are giving us.

And anyone that has been around this place for more than 5 seconds knows that KK know his shit

I dunno. I wouldn't book any one of those guys, and would probably book someone, who, you know, was champion...In WWE's eyes even...

That you'd have a guy who couldn't draw vs two hasbeens (One of which never drew), none of which are Hogan, I think proves you're as far off the mark as BAsham and London.

In fact if I were to book starting at Summerslam, I'd have Mr. Socko turn on Mick Foley during his match with Flair.

Then on Raw the next night, Foley will come out with Mr. Socko with him and Socko will be wearing a little suit and a blonde wig.

See? I'd be booking Wrestlecrap from the start.

It would work if you didn't get burned out on having to think of too many ideas for too many wrestlers. I had a great idea the other day when I was sitting on the toilet but I don't go to the toilet too often in a week to think of ideas for each wrestler on the roster. Plus, I could have the best idea in the world on the toilet but you have to have a wrestler who is going to pull it off well, who doesn't intrepet it and play it differently than you imagined.

So yeah burnout (consistent, numerous ideas) for a federation like WWE would be a concern if you didn't build a good team around you and then wrestlers not quite realising the idea from the toilet would be two factors that would hold me back.

Need the toilet.

I'd almost rather they DIDN'T do everything just how I imagined it. That's part of the fun of pro wrestling, in my opinion. Obviously, I'd want something close, but that's about it.

Well, I have an idea. We need a crew of Paparazzi volunteers from this board to follow **cough** kidnap **cough** Billionaire Ted to a Tijuana Donkey Show, where he will be the featured performer of the evening. After his ass heals from the ass, we will send him a copy of the footage and demand that he fund our very own wrestling organization "TPW"....or his little "colon cleansing fiesta" will be sent to every major news channel in the world.

We can figure out the logistics from there.

I honestly think we'd do a much better job than anyone in the WWE. Seriously, anyone could write the top feuds on RAW better than what the WWE has. I wouldn't so change the pecking order in the WWE as actually write it better. The quality of the writing in the WWE is just horrendous.
