I agree it's good to have a writer with no wrestling knowledge to represent the 'casual fan' to have that vision of what it should take to bring in new viewers who haven't watched wrestling before

I agree it's good to have a writer with no wrestling knowledge to represent the 'casual fan' to have that vision of what it should take to bring in new viewers who haven't watched wrestling before

But it's not a good idea to have any writers without any REAL knowledge.

If I ran the WWE, AT LEAST 1/2 of the staff would be required to know at least as much as Russo did when he started writing for them.

I agree. But the MAJORITY of them don't know the product. The job description says that they DON'T want them to be familiar with the product.

If it were only one or two, I'd be fine with it. But you should be hiring people who know your business more than people who don't.
