When Test got fired
When Test was originally released from WWE back in 2004, he was out for a year because he had neck fusion surgery anyway. I thought he had something in his contract that they couldn't fire him until he recovered. What happened to that?

I'm pretty sure it's not written into the contracts. It's just a moral standpoint that the WWE should have stood by, as they do it with MOST of their injured stars.

Yeah, they fired Dawn Marie when she was pregnant too so nothing would really surprise me.

I thought I heard that Test had something where he legally couldn't get fired until he recovered though.

It was something to the effect of not being able to fire him until he was able to start training again. But when he was mewdically cleared to start his rehab, they fired him b/c of how long it would take. It was a very dick move.
The company theory was "We can hire two new guys to work right now for as much as we're paying you to learn how to walk. Give us a call when your back is better." |

Well, I believe his terminology was more along the lines of "Fuck off, bastards," but I can't swear to it.
And what's the relevance, anyway? The company came crawling to him, not the other way around. |
