Medical suspensions for UFC

The Nevada State Athletic Commission released a listing of medical suspensions resulting from last week's UFC Fight Night card. They are detailed below.

-- Karo Parisyan is to undergo a CT scan to rule out nasal and orbital fractures. If the scan is negative, he still cannot fight until 10/17/06 and is banned from contact until 10/2/06.

-- Jorge Santiago cannot fight until 10/17 and is banned from contact until 10/2.

-- Jonathan Goulet cannot fight until 9/17 and is banned from contact until 9/8.

-- Jake O'Brien cannot fight until 9/17 and is banned from contact until 9/8 due to a scalp laceration.

-- Sammy Morgan is to undergo a CT scan to rule out nasal and orbital fractures. If the scan is negative, he still cannot fight until 10/17/06 and is banned from contact until 10/2/06.

-- Anthony Torres must have his right hand and knee x-rayed and cleared by a doctor; if he is not cleared, he cannot fight until 2/17/07.
