New Cyber Sunday Spoilers

PWInsider.com is reporting that the current plan for the WWE Cyber Sunday PPV on November 5 involving the "Champion of Champions" Match with WWE Champion John Cena, WWE World Heavyweight Champion King Booker & ECW Champion Big Show is to have one of the championships on the line that will picked by the WWE fans. This is likely the big announcement Vince McMahon will be making on Raw this Monday night as touted over on WWE.com.

Also scheduled for the PPV is Jeff Hardy defending the WWE Intercontinental Title where the fans will decide his challenger in Johnny Nitro, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Super Crazy or Chris Masters.

Local advertising in Cincinnati lists the following talent for the event: Ric Flair, DX, Vince McMahon, The Spirit Squad, Edge, Lita, Randy Orton, Rob Van Dam, Batista, Sabu and William Regal.

At first I thought the only logical thing to do was put the Big Show and ECW over but if a Raw or SmackDown! championship is on the line, this could be the perfect way to start killing the roster split except ECW. Keep ECW as a separate brand.

If Cena were to win the match, I think the marks would pick somebody else's title so that Cena can trot around with two spinner belts.

If Cena becomes undisputed WWE champion at this event, I'm done with wrestling. Although I'm thinking, one way or the other, the ECW title will be on the line, so they can have a extreme rules match, as I think this triple threat will be a disaster as it stands.

Well if the fans are picking what belt is on the line, than WWE will proabably book it accordingly for the defender to win and retain.
One of the champions winning another title and causing a resulting storyline would be interesting, thats why I'm not predicting it.

I'd say no matter what Cena wins. It's in the fans hands, does Cena retain, or does he win a title? I think having the defending champ win no matter what would be un-WWE. Having Cena win no matter what on the other hand...

Its probably safe to assume the fans will choose the WWE belt too, which is what they're probably banking on to have Cena go over. If not they'll work it out so that the defended title stays put. I wouldn't be suprised if there wasnt even a clean finish, to avoid making one champ seem superior.
I predict run ins galore at the end, resulting in DQ or what not, as a way to build other fueds. Batista and Umaga etc.

I can see the WWE doing a title change, simply for the fact that Cyber Sunday is still on shakey ground in terms of how successful it is, and they will likely want to reward the fans' votes. So if the fans vote for Big Show's ECW Title to be on the line, I think the WWE will have John Cena win the belt. I can actually see them going in a rock-paper-scissors form of booking, here:

Fans Choose WWE Championship

John Cena defends, and loses the belt. Defending and winning would be boring, and it goes against logic. The fans want to see him lose, so make him lose. Big Show being ECW World Champion and WWE World Champion seems a bit awkward, though. King Booker winning the WWE Title, and unifying it with the World Heavyweight Championship, appearing on both brands as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, makes the most sense in this scenario.

Fans Choose the ECW World Championship

Big Show losing the ECW Title allows RAW and SmackDown! stars to appear on ECW TV. That's something the WWE loves. John Cena winning the ECW Title seems to make the most sense. He headlined their last PPV, he could easily start a feud with Rob Van Dam, or pretty much any ECW Original. John Cena vs. CM Punk could actually make money. John Cena would be able to play ECW's top heel, and could get a practice run for his inevitable heel run in the WWE, and can lend ECW an identity.

Fans Choose the World Heavyweight Championship

If King Booker defends his title, I can see him losing to Big Show. This would make Big Show the first man to ever hold the WWE Championship, WCW Championship, ECW Championship and Heavyweight Championship. It completely blows anything Kurt Angle did with World Championships in the WWE out of the water, which is why I can see the WWE doing it.

Of course, the WWE will probably just have Cena retain.

LOL, I'm going to say this once, and only once. It is highly doubtful that the fans' votes matter, or if they're even counted. If they did, the IWC would've made some sort of a mark by now (remember Christian last year for WWE Championship, or something like that?)

I think we're going to see King Booker defend the WHC at CS v. Lashley, and interference by Batista on Lashley's behalf will cost him (Lashley) the title by way of DQ.

Assuming? I think we all know it is. It can't possibly be real, because WWE plans angles and title runs months ahead of time, maybe more. Leaving decisions to chance (pretty much) would ruin all that.

I think the votes are only rigged in the way that we see it done on TV. They don't want Cena to defend, so they have K-fed be an obnoxious ass and act like what he says will be the final vote. So the sheep vote for one of the other two because they think by not being like k-fed, they're making their own consious choice, but therein they are being manipulated from the beginning and thus casual fans are morons.

The final vote will be for Booker to defend. They'll finish with a typical Smackdown finish where Sharmell gets involved, Booker wins, and the sheep wonder why they didn't see that coming from the beginning.

I would LOVE Bischoff to return, even as ref.

I believe that whoever's belt is picked, that man goes over.

Hence me voting for the World Heavyweight title.

I just voted for the HWC to be on the line since that belt is one that Vince and his company has proven they give less then a shit about and since SD is the "b" show I can see Booker losing it in a non-SD ppv.

I voted Cena, because it sends the message that we want to see him lose. I can understand why people are voting for King Booker, but I'm kind of scared that the WWE will not hesitate to put two World Titles on John Cena.

The final vote will be for Booker to defend. They'll finish with a typical Smackdown finish where Sharmell gets involved, Booker wins, and the sheep wonder why they didn't see that coming from the beginning.
I agree. I really don't think the WWE rigs the polls. They may take a few liberties, but for the most part, I think the rigging is done before they actually put forward the ideas.

They've listed the referess for the tag team match with confidence. Jonathan Coachman and Vince McMahon are pretty much interchangeable. They play the heel ref, and DX would probably go over after they knock them out and some other ref counts the pinfall. These two choices are deliberate to get the fans to vote for Eric Bischoff instead.

Look at the rumoured choices for the Intercontinental Championship Match. People are going to vote for either Carlito or Shelton Benjamin. Super Crazy has an outside chance. Chris Masters has nothing. They probably don't need to rig anything. They just come up with plans in case the surprising does happen, and they could put it forward. The WWE could ignore the voting rather safely with this match, though. People wouldn't be surprised to see Carlito get the nod.

The Champion of Champions match I have a feeling will not be rigged. They have nothing to gain from it. It's fairly predictable that either John Cena or King Booker will defend, and I'm sure they've got the scenarios mapped out.

So yeah, I'm kind of torn between the whole "they present choices that are so predictable they can be glossed over and no one would second guess" and "they only present choices that they are fully prepared to follow through with" ideas. I think it's a combination of both.

who knows, I assumed it wasnt but it seems to be the consensus that it isnt. You can vote as much as you want so it might as well be. And it wouldnt suprise me at all if it was. Either way it doesnt matter, because they either have it rigged/planned out, or will book it accordingly.
Just annoys me that they try to act like its an event thats for the fans to choose, when they clearly rig it or at the very least give options that are easy for them to book around. Meaningless PPV IMO.
