JR working without a contract
As of a few weeks ago, Jim Ross has been working without a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. In the past, Ross always worked for WWE with a contract. However, according to new reports, Ross has mutually opted to work without one at this time.

It should be noted that Ross' Monday Night Raw broadcast partner Jerry "The King" Lawler has worked without a contract for years with WWE.

Oh god, it's time for the TNA rumors to begin. Every time in recent years they've done a "fired" angle on the air, lots of internet marks would tell me how JR was gonna go to TNA and replace Don West or Mike Tenay.

Jim Ross' webmaster has posted the following statement on Ross' official website (jrsbarbq.com): "many websites are reporting that J.R. is working without a contract with his present employer which is not true."
