The Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback FINALS
So, out with it for those who watch TUF. Who is everyone predicting...
Welterweight Finals Chris Lytle vs. Matt Serra Middleweight Finals Patrick Cote vs. Travis Lutter There is a decent undercard, though certainly nothing to write home about. A bunch of TUF4 eliminated fighters against either each other or some B-list fighters. Anyway so what is everyone guessing? Personally I am going to say Terror and Lutter. On a side note: Would there be anyone interested in starting a Tipster's League for either UFC or Pride PPV cards? |

Yeah, what is up with that? I thought Bisping was going to be on the undercard, I was really looking forward to it. What happened?

Dana White needs to take the blame for the visa issues. This is beyond the joke and you never hear of WWE or any boxers having this problem.
As for the show, I tipped Serra from the start so I have to go with him even though I think he is the underdog going in. Lutter should beat Cote but I'm backing Cote anyway. |

I think Lutter is gonna get Cote on the ground and sit on him for 3 rounds.

The ending to the Pete Sell/Scott Smith fight was insane.
Sell hit Smith in ribs Smith going down whincing in pain. Smith goes down and Sell goes in for the kill and Smith just jumps up nails Sell with a right and knocks him out. Fuckin awsome. Smith is seriously hurt to. Last edited by McLegend; 11-11-2006 at 10:21 PM. |

Both my guesses won their matches...though I personally am calling into question Serra's win. Unquestionably should have gone into OT.
And legend, hell fucking yeah Sell/Smith may be one of the best MMA finishes I have ever seen. I thought he psyched him out for a second, but nah the bastard really was hurt. Decent showing, though no showstealing matches. |

I personally think Sell/Smith was better than Griffin/BonnarI, because it was more crisp and the standup looked like it hurt a lot more. If the crowd was more into it, it could have been an all time classic. That finish was intennnnnnse.

So, does anyone here honestly think Serra has a snowball's chance in hell of beating Hughes or (God Willing)GSP?

I respect Lutter simply because he knows he is boring, but he's not gonna deviate from his gameplan because he knows he has to win. I still fucking hate the way he fights...but he doesn't get rattled or anything from people thinking he is a bore.
Hopefully Anderon kicks his teeth in though lol. I also felt bad for Lytle and Serra, they both worked really hard, but their styles were too much of a clash to have a good entertaining fight...but again it wasn't due to a lack of effort. I mean the whole time they were working, just neither could really get anything going. It was a damn shame. |
