KB / MB / Byte Question
Forgive Kayfabe's ignorance, but I am next to totally computer illiterate. I know how to use Word, AOL, play Solitaire, and do a few other things, but other than that - I'm lost.
Which is more when they are talking about bytes? KB or MB? I ask because I got a diskette recently that says it holds 1.44 MB, and I see the different file sizes - KB / MB - but have no idea what the hell is more and all of that good stuff. Basically, I just want to learn something for the day. Any help would be appreciated |

Out of those it would go:
Byte KB (kilobyte) - 1,024 bytes MB (megabyte) - 1,024 kilobytes Then there would be GB (gigabyte), TB (terabyte), PB (petabyte), etc. |
