So I've officially been added to the WWE blocked email list...

Today I went ahead and spent a few minutes writing to the WWE creative staff about my reactions to the SS ppv last night. I can only assume that they have immediately deleted my email and have had an intern or some computer program block my email address to prevent any future respondence from me.

The content of my letter to them is below. Some things of interest that you may notice: I included the obligatory HHH ass kissing that must come with anything that you might write if you had even the most remote hope that somebody on the creative team might read it. I tried my best to have perfect grammar and spelling in hopes, again, that if somebody did read it, it would stand out from the mass of emails they get that begin with "Jonh C3nnuhz Ru[ZoRrzzzZ!!1!"

Read and enjoy....

As a fan of the WWE, I was very disappointed with the results of the Survivor Series PPV. The workrate of the wrestlers during the show was as good as could be expected, as was the indivual spots throughout the matches. My disappointment results from the booking, however. The WWE's booking as of late has been very reminiscent of the booking of the WCW in its later years, giving the fans quick title changes and face victories for a quick ratings boost. However the current booking style may affect the WWE, good or bad, I feel personally as though I am being patronized by the creative staff. When a new storyline or character is introduced, I feel excited about what the story will bring, or what the character will do. However, everytime the story pans out, I am given another face squash match, or another disqualification victory by a heel.

Every new storyline is watered down until the same underlying formula for success shows through. Can't a heel get over without running like a coward? Last night, Randy Orton was the last man on his team. I recall on a previous Survivor Series, in a similar situation, he nearly single handedly took out the remainder of the opposing team. This year? He ran like a coward into the crowd where he was quintuple teamed and pinned in less than a half a minute. Why should I cheer for DX when I'm naturally predisposed to root on the underdog. I am reminded of the Undertaker's final run with the title. As a heel, he never ran away at the sight of a face. He never cheated for a quick victory. Taking all of this into consideration, the crowds still hated him. Another example is HHH. Though he has played the coward on some occasions, his range of characteristics has been varied to keep him interesting. Watching the same characters with different names makes the entire wrestling product very boring.

I also am concerned with the results of the first blood match between Mr. Kennedy and the Undertaker. Why should I believe that Kennedy is the future of Smackdown when he reacts in the exact same way that everybody else who fights the Undertaker reacts? Why should I even care about a match whose results are so obvious that I know exactly what is going to happen before the match even begins?

In conclusion, I am not writing this as a complaint, or as a threat to change the product before I choose to stop watching, but as a suggestion for improvement. I began this letter stating that I am a loyal fan of the WWE, and I still am. However, after spending my own money on a PPV that gave me nothing new, and everything of the old, I feel cheated. The same old results for every match bores me, and the excitement about new characters and storylines quickly fades and leaves me with the same DX victory, followed by the same Cena victory, followed by the same of everything else...and nothing more.

I should note that after sending the email, I read the following:

Storyline Ideas
WWE does not accept ideas for storylines, matches or merchandise. Please be aware that any e-mails we receive will not be reviewed and will be deleted without being read.

SHouldn't that read "Please be aware that any e-mails we recieve about storylines will not be reviewed and will be deleted without being read"?

I sense a freudian slip in there...
