HBK always puts on great matches with big guys, and Batista is better than all of the big guys HBK used to fight, with the exception of maybe Nash.

I dunno, I'm kinda sick of HBK at the moment. I still want Kennedy to win the Rumble. Lashley got a world title (ECW, but still), so why not Kennedy?

I'm pretty sure HBK vs. Heel Batista would sell pretty well, especially if "Dave Smash" Batista went on a real tantrum fest during the hype.

As per Kennedy, I want him as SD champ, but I'd rather his taker feud be finalized at Mania.

Really don't want to see Trips lose another Mania match. Also need the WWE Title on him. Let someone from SmackDown win the rumble again (Kennedy, Finlay (BUILD HIM UP), Kane) and build a legit fued with Batista. So how I would like to see it.

Possible:
WHC: Batista (C, Heel) vs. Kennedy (Face)
WWE Title: Edge (C, Heel) vs. Triple H (Face)
Money In The Bank: HBK, Orton, Carlito, Jeff Hardy, John Nitro.

or you could have:
WWE Title: John Cena (C, Face) vs. (Rumble Winner)
World Tag Team Titles: DX vs Team RKO.

Since Batista and Cena aren't very skilled in the ring, and its just about a certainty that they will both be in their respective main events....I think the best momve is to put them against against someone who can carry them.

Personally I'd like to see either Benoit face Batista, or perhaps Edge win the rumble and go to Smackdown and take his belt.

On the Raw side of things I'd like to see a fatal four way with Cena vs HHH vs Orton vs Edge
I'd like to see Shawn put over Kennedy in an interpromotional match, say Shawn eliminates him from the rumble and he freaks out and eliminates him. Thats been the running trait with HBKs wrestlemania fueds since his return (Jericho, Angle, Vince and Shane)

Yeah Scott Hall and the Undertaker are big too, whatever. Doesn't matter, I really think they would have great chemistry. I mean HHH got a few decent bouts out of Batista, im sure Shawn can do better.

I still don't think CM Punk should be winning the ECW title. He should continue to grow there before winning a title and make the jump to another brand when they want to book him as a secondary and eventual world title holder.
The ECW title is the C-Title of the company and means little now under the WWE, and means even less after D2D.
He should capture IC gold before World Gold.


Batista vs HBK isnt my choice for the world title, but it could get much worse.

Edge vs Triple H isnt happening. They'll use Cena, and they'll probably use Orton. THe only hope for Triple H/Edge being in the same match at mania is them being added to the title match as a fatal four way, or a non title grudge match. Could be wrong tho, who knows.

Although I'd mark out for another Chris Benoit win, I think Shawn Michaels is the only guy who can credibly win the Royal Rumble and not disgust me, at this point. The event is in his hometown, and although they'll probably go with The Undertaker, and bill him from Houston, Texas, again, HBK winning would be so much better.

I never really thought about Batista vs. Shawn Michaels, though. I always kind of pictured Triple H (WWE Champion) vs. Shawn Michaels (2007 Royal Rumble Winner). It's a great idea, to be sure.

The natural progression of Batista's character is to become a paranoid heel Champion. Not cowardly, paranoid. A slow-burn heel turn would be perfect. Shawn Michaels coming over to SmackDown! after winning the Rumble would be the perfect catalyst for the eventual "thumbs down" from Batista.

Shawn Michaels wins his third Royal Rumble, tying him with Stone Cold Steve Austin for most Rumble wins ever. He and Triple H come out on RAW, celebrate a little, some lame jokes ensue, and Shawn Michaels says that he's going to SmackDown! to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and this time he plans on holding it longer than 28 days, because there's going to be no Triple H to take it off him. It's basically sold as an emotional moment, as DX splits up. I won't shed a tear, but who knows, maybe some kids will cry.

Shawn Michaels goes to SmackDown!, dances around Batista in the ring asking him if he's excited about their Armageddon 2003 rematch? They can tease it with showing clips of heel Batista in Evolution, costing Shawn Michaels the Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff match at Survivor Series '03, etc. HBK basically plays games with Batista, trying to subtley turn the fans against him.

Theodore Long eventually makes a match that favours Shawn Michaels (as Long tends to do for babyfaces), and supports his quest for the World Heavyweight Title, and Batista snaps, giving Long the Spinebuster. JBL gets excited saying that it's good to see Long finally put in his place, and the meanstreak that brought Batista to the dance, and made him the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all-time.

This is probably the dreamer in me, but seeing as they were trained in Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy, I'd love to see Paul London & Brian Kendrick get a rub from this feud. They'd probably just be used as bump-bags for Batista, but it'd be nice to see them at least involved in a main event program.

Oh, and Batista should retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Nothing against Shawn Michaels, but he's not the prime Superstar of the time, and Batista is undefeated at WrestleMania. And when a face steps up to end the streak of Batista, it will hopefully mean something more. If HBK did win, though, I could see him losing the belt at Judgment Day to Mr. Kennedy.

Batista vs HBK isnt my choice for the world title, but it could get much worse.

I actually agree with you. For some reason, I can see Mr. Kennedy vs. CM Punk taking place at WrestleMania for the WWE United States Championship. Punk is ideal for the SmackDown! brand, in my opinion, and although some people may believe it limits ECW, I say who gives a fuck? Punk is already dead in the water on ECW, anyway.

The ECW World Title Match is rumoured to be Bobby Lashley vs. Rob Van Dam. They could do much worse than this. My first instinct would be to have Bobby Lashley retain, but on second thoughts, and RVD win might be able to give the ECW brand the steam it needs to survive another six months to a year. It'd be a WrestleMania moment, to say the least. The ECW Original, RVD, triumphing over the WWE's boy toy, despite all the politics and recent ongoings in ECW. It'd be akin to Chris Benoit winning the big belt in 2004.

I must say, I like the idea of John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H in a Fatal Fourway Match for the WWE Championship. You need something to set apart the World Title Matches, and WrestleMania does need to squeeze talent onto the show. I'd have Edge win the belt, keeping his WrestleMania streak alive, and winning his third WWE Championship.

I agree with you there too, Edge should absolutey continue his streak, and the only logical way to up the ante of it is for him to win the belt this time around. Hes the best heel raw has, and they need to give him the belt again (this time for a legitimate run). Wrestlemanias a great place to start it. Cenas gonna be in it, but and Edge/Cena fued has been unfortunately used/exhausted this year. It needs something more to it, like Orton. And of course it could benefit from Triple Hs presence, both as a match and for maquix value.
They need to squeeze talent in and one on ones might not be the way to go. Triple threats have been overused in the past couple years, so the best bet would be a Fatal Four way for Raw, and a singles match on SD!

My main event suggestions:
Raw main event: Triple H vs Cena vs Edge vs Orton
Smackdown main event: Benoit (or HBK) vs Batista
ECW main event: RVD vs Lashley (3way dance if Big Shows at WM)

use undertaker against someone he can bury, Umaga
use HBK against someone he can put over interpromotionally, Kennedy

Edge vs Triple H vs Orton vs Cena also has some very interesting dynamics to it that can go into the fued. Instead of just a bland cluster-fuck fued for the title, it actually has a lot of interesting angles within it.

Edge/Cena-Prior fueding over the belt, longstanding rivalry
Orton/Edge-deterierating union
Orton/HHH - old bad blood from DX fued and even the evolution days
HHH/Cena - last years wrestlemania, two faces at odds over the belt
Edge/HHH - the DX/Rated RKO fued as well as the sparks of a new, post WM fued for the belt Edge would win.

Someone like Carlito, Ken Kennedy or CM Punk is not going to win the Rumble. Anyone who suggests it is ridiculous.

This DX/RKO thing won't last much longer, and we've already had the seeds of an Orton/Cena thing. Joke is, I bet it gets Orton over quicker than any face push would.

If I had my way, Cena wouldn't even be in the main event at Mania. 3 consecutive ME's? The guy isn't even close to deserving that.

I like the idea of Kennedy/Taker HIAC at WM. Edge v.s HHH won't happen for the title as it is happening on Raw this comming week. But I feel like they may have a gimmick match.

Absolutely, I couldnt agree with you more. In fact I've said it before on these boards. Its not that I think he should be in that match, I'm just making realistic suggestions. Whether or not its right, or whether or not I like it, I've accepted the fact that Cena will be main eventing Wrestlemania. Its sad but true.

I think Orton is going to win. If it were up to me Chris Benoit would win, jump to RAW (again) and make Cena tap out at Mania. Throw down the spinny belt, piss on it, and demand that the WWE give him a title worth of a genuine champion before he does so much as allow Lillian to announce him official winner. Come to think of it, Benoit freaking out and going ubber elitest "I'm simply the best in the world" heel sounds like a damn good idea.

I say either Edge or Orton will end up winning. I'd prefer to see Benoit win the title of either brand, preferably Raw again, but it won't happen.
