Figure-related question...
A few months ago I found the following figures at an antique store. Their bases say they're from 1991 and are Hasbro products. What exactly are these from? I'm guessing that they were sold in some type of set or possibly a promotion or something of the like.

Looks like someone just took the Hasbro figures and glued them on those stands.

They're not the full-sized ones though. They're about 3 inches high.

Like I said, I got them from an antique store. They were loose.

I had the LOD and Natural Disaster ones. I can't remember what they were for though. I remember that the bases made me think there was some sort of display stand or something for them.
Out of interest, how much did you pay, because I may have them around somewhere. |

Huh, just found one of the sets...
http://cgi.ebay.com/WORLD-WRESTLING-...QQcmdZViewItem There must have been at least 3 sets and apparently there's a ring for them. Wish I had the money to buy the other figures that they had there, they had a bucket full of old LJN figures. |

Those things look like they came out of a happy meal from 20 years ago.

I happen to have those sets in the packs still.
I bought them a few years after they came out at a discount store, that bought the cases of them from a company that still had them stored in their warehouse after all that time. Amazingly, I paid $1 each for each set. I also bought WWF books there for $.70 cents, and some cool Hogan collector's items for under $5. Good old days |
