Recycled Entrance Music

On Velocity when Orlando Jordan came out, i could swear blind i had heard his music somewhere before in WWE. (Can't remember where though!).

So, can anyone remember anyone else who's used the same music as a
wrestler from the past?

Kurt Angle uses the Patriots theme.

The Hardy Boyz music was originally from an Austin promo I seem to remember.

I think Orlando Jordans was one of the Diva's music, but offhand I cannot remember which....

I beleive the Dudley's first theme song (the one Spike still uses) was originally Ahmed Johnsons theme song.

I think William Regal's music was recycled (not sure). Not sure if it counts, but nWo's music was recycled for the WWE version of the group, same with Deisel's music for Nash.

Orlando Jordans used to be used on various WWF vignettes over the years. Usually focused on live events.

I definately heard Blackmans on a Discovery Channel advert.

And Jeff Hardy's theme was on an Austin vignette. I remember him saying "Oh Hell Yeah!" "And that's the bottom line, why? Because Stone Cold said so!" "And everybody's got it in for Stone Cold Steve Austin, uh-uh that's not gonna work!"

From about Over The Edge 1999. Just before The Rock's vignette came out, and that music was later used at Judgement Day 2000.

How do I remember this crap? :meh:

Lita's first (I think) theme became Terri's theme.
Spike's theme was the Dudley Boyz 2nd theme.
The Dudley's first theme was some diva... I think The Kat.
People already pointed out Angle using the Patriot's theme.
I've heard Lita's first theme on the UPN news in SoCali.
Spanky's theme was used for some ESPN promo for a reality show.
Marc Mero's first WWF theme is now Sable's WWE theme.
Marc Mero's second theme was used fot some midcard WCW wrestler.
The "Brawl For All" theme became Bart Gunn's theme.
Chuck and Billy's theme is now used for Rico's theme, but they took out most of the lyrics.

If Orlando Jordan's theme is the same one I hear when he occassionally shows up on SD!, then it's the music they play when they do the WWE SmackDOWN! calendar (upcoming events). That might be why it's so familiar.

And it could have been an old theme too.

Songs that were used for entrance music, like the ones
for Steve Blackman, Acolytes, The Hardy Boyz, Crash
Holly-and others-are all generic songs that can be used
for anything at any time (except you can't sell the music).

The "Hardyz" music can be heard regularly on FX!'s Tough
Man Competitions,as well as in various commercials and
at sporting events. "Steve Blackman's" theme can be heard
in various commercials as well, and as someone said, the theme
used for Crash can be heard in the Beavis & Butthead commercial...

In WCW-ville,Jim Powers had generic music that could be
heard in television ads all the time (and still can). That was
another example of above said type of generic use music
that belongs to no one at all.

As far as other recycled themes go,after The Hollywood Blonde's
left WCW, their theme was used many times for various jobbers
on Saturday Night, Pro,and other shows. Also, prior to Goldberg's
arrival in WCW,his music was used for many jobbers, most noticibly
-and regularly- with Pat Tanaka (formerly of
The Orient Express).

Well, they were trying to push that ridiculous notion that he was really Hulk Hogan, despite looking NOTHING like him...So every little bit helped.

They also used "Real American" for like 50 different "legends" at one point or another...I'm pretty sure it was used for at least Paterson and Brisco...
