What would be the best PPV format?

We know that the WWE over-pushes their PPV events, so I was wondering what you think the best format would be now?

I think they should cut it down to about 9 PPVs per year. I would have it pan out like this (with the current brands in place)...

January: Royal Rumble (Multi-brand)
February/March: No Way Out (Multi-brand)
April: WrestleMania (Multi-brand)
May: Vengeance (RAW)
June: Great American Bash (SmackDown!)
August: SummerSlam (Multi-brand)
September: No Mercy [Or whatever] (ECW)
November: Survivor Series (Multi-brand)
December: Armageddon (Alternates)

This way, aside from No Way Out which I think is needed to build up to Mania (although it could easily be replaced with SNME) there are a few months before the multi-brand PPVs and it cuts down on the single-brand PPVs so they're more important.

At this point, in my opinion even a monthly PPV is a bit overkill because they don't have enough time to really develop a good card.

The other three months (four if you count No Way Out) can have SNME or a similar special to fill out the big event for that month.
