Just a few questions. When did Savage start shilling Slim Jims? Was it when he was in WCW or WWF? Did he ever mention it on-air? And when did he stop promoting them?

I know it def. started when he was in WWF...carried over to his WCW days I believe. Not sure when he stopped

I was always very disappointed when my slim jims didn't snap, so much as have the ability to be tied in a knot. Where is my class action lawsuit against big meat stick?

Yeah, it was in the early 1990's; when he was in WWF.

I believe originally, Ultimate Warrior did the Slim Jim ads, but they switched to Savage - as I believe he had more of the personality they were trying to project. Also, Warrior was on his way out, so they took on a guy staying.

He kept doing it until basically WCW closed. I have a bunch of Randy Savage Slim Jim promo items and materials, and I've got stuff with him and Gorgeous George on it from c. 2000 - 2001, so that's basically when it stopped fully I believe.

Me myself, I thought Savage was a great spokesperson for them; and believe it or not, he's actually quite well known internationally through pop culture for the Slim Jim ads, sometimes moreso than his wrestling career. Crazy.
