Match U could'nt wait to see
What match were you most excited for. I mean a match that, when you heard it announced that you could'nt believe it and could'nt miss it ?
For me it had to be Hogan vs. Warrior, or also when Flair was coming to WWF and entering the Royal Rumble. |

I absolutely couldn't wait for Triple H vs Benoit vs HBK. Mainly because my status as a fan was on the line with the title in that match...
I couldn't wait for the fatal four way of wm2000, I was way into it at the time. Most ppv matches between 1998-2000 I would be pretty amped for. But since then I can probably count ones that I "can't wait for" on my hand. |

I was pretty excited for the Rock/Jericho match at No Mercy 2001. I loved the feud and build to it.

Undertaker vs. Austin SummerSlam 98. That feud was fucking hot that summer.
I still remember the RAW (I believe the one before the PPV) where they ended it with Austin and Taker brawling, Austin throws Taker in the hearse and Highway to Hell plays as he drives off with JR yelling "HE'S DRIVING THAT HEARSE RIGHT INTO SUMMERSLAM!". Also, the video package for that feud was awesome. |

Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIX. This is one of those matches I had always dreamed about, and when Jericho came in to WWF in 2000, with HBK still in "permanent retirement," I never thought I would see the day. And of course, the match was brilliant.
Also, Goldberg vs. DDP from Halloween Havoc 1998. Two of my favorite wrestlers in WCW at the time, and I was really divided between who I wanted to win that match. |

The last match I couldn't wait to see was the last match between Foley and Flair. The feud was just so well done and built up.
Of course, I still didn't buy the PPV to see the match because the rest of the card was crap. But it really killed me not to do it. |

For some reason, the Austin/McMahon cage match at St.Valentines Day massacre, 1999.
I was a mark and just wanted Austin to get his hands on McMahon...BADLY! Also, Khali vs Undertaker in the Punjab prison match. ![]() |

I couldn't wait for Bret/Shawn at Survivor Series 97'. I think this was given to the fact that Mania 12 was such an unbelievable match, and this was the first time these two were facing eachother since then.

Personally, I couldn't wait for Austin-HHH at No Way Out 2001. I loved the build up to that feud, how HHH beated up Austin after pretending to sign the no physicality contract, how Austin then stunned Stephanie McMahon a week later with HHH then running to the ring and going crazy over what Stone Cold did. The match itself was absolute quality as well. The different stipulations per fall was unique. Plus I never would have thought HHH would win.
