Dear Tovo,
 I was looking at my rep sheet, and I believe I have 7 negative reps from you because I have insulted some of your favorite wrestlers. In risk of acquiring more negative reps from you I would like to address all of the wrestlers that you are so fiercely protective of according to a thread that you posted entitled “I Declare The Following People To Be Protected By Tovo’s Markish Reactions” which can be viewed at http://www.tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=57860

Sean Waltman
I don’t know what it is about this guy that caused the fans to simply not respond to him. He’s a better wrestler than Hulk Hogan, a better showman than Umaga, and a better cruiser weight wrestler than Scotty 2 Hotty. I think he could have made it big if he would have repacked himself after DX broke up. “Sensational” Sean Waltman, “Superstar” Sean Waltman” or even “The Shooter” Sean Waltman would have been more marketable than teaming him up with Albert and Justin Credible.
He’s not a bad wrestler, just horribly booked. He was the first man to ever hold a WCW and WWF title at the same time to unify the WCW Cruiserweight and WWF Light Heavyweight titles. How many people give him credit for that? 3, I think.
He had close ties to Triple H and I think if Sean Waltman would have played his cards right he could have been an awesome force in the industry, if nothing else with backstage pull.

Scott Hall
 He was nothing special in the ring, or on the mic. What made Hall so big in WWF and WCW (must avoid fat joke….)? He knew that part of the industry was just knowing how to carry yourself, and who you know. He was a great all rounder and a great IC champion. He was a part of the ground breaking first ladder match and made a huge impact on WCW as part of the Outsiders with Nash. All in all I can’t say a bad thing about who he was, but when it comes to who he is, Tovo, even YOU have to admit he has let himself gain a few pounds.

Triple H & HBK
 Aside from being overbooked and shoved down our throats I cannot say a bad thing about them as single wrestlers. They’ve had good matches, and they’ve had bad matches, but no one can deny that they’ve both made a huge, positive impact on the industry.
HBK has overcome a lot in his personal life, and has become something that is very rare in the industry- a positive role model. No, I’m not a christian, but there is nothing wrong with having a strong faith. He has overcome addiction, pain, and losing to Hulk Hogan at summer slam albeit everyone will tell you he should have won. I have nothing but respect for the showstopper.
As of Triple H, this guy MUST have passion for what he does. Hunter vs. Warrior at Wrestlemania, Hunter vs. Godwin in the hog pen match. I’m sure most people would have thrown in the towel after a shtick like that. Now let’s turn a blind eye to the fact that he has started a family with the boss’ daughter, and look at someone who he helped out. Someone who he admired, and rekindled the fire for. Let’s look at…

Ric Flair
 Lemme start out by saying I have an autographed picture of Ric Flair hanging by my door. Triple H has said it, and so have I. Ric Flair doesn’t get the reactions he gets for who he was and what he’s done. He gets the people so yell “WOOO” when he chops, gets the people to stand on their feet in a different part of the country on a weekly basis, has the fans that he has for who he is and what he’s doing.
Let’s compare Ric Flair to The Undertaker.
The Undertaker only wrestlers in high profile matches.
Ric Flair will wrestle on any point of the card.
The Undertaker has a light work load.
Ric Flair will go in the ring every week.
The Undertaker won the royal rumble at number 30.
Ric Flair won the royal rumble at number 3.
The Undertaker needs a flashy entrance with spooky music, dark lighting, and a fog machine.
Ric Flair only needs his theme music and a flashy robe.
The Undertaker is Mark Calloway’s gimmick.
Ric Flair is Ric Flair.
No one can deny that Ric Flair has put his blood, sweat, and tears into this industry. You show me one man Ric Flair’s age who has done what Ric Flair has done, and does what Ric Flair does. To be the man, you’ve gotta beat the man. And no matter if it was a champion like The American Dream, an icon like Hulk Hogan, or an upcoming superstar like Carlito, Ric Flair has proven time and time again that he is The Man.

Kevin Nash
 Okay, this guy gets a lot of shit for tearing his quad. Almost as much as Lita gets for botching something in the ring. The only difference is Nash could got for a longer time span without tearing his quad than Lita can without messing up.
He has been able to carry a company on his shoulders where ever he went because he was the total package (not Lex Luger). He’s a great wrestler for a big man, and awesome behind a mic. If WWE signed him I’d be stoked. So long as he doesn’t tear his quad I could see him with one more title run. I’m sure his friendship with HBK and Triple H would help him out greatly if he were to resign with WWE.
His part in the New World Order was too…. Too drawn out, but I’m not going to blame him. If the WCW writers would have called the Wolfpac something that took them out of the New World Order then it would have been monumental.
Oh, and the whole “finger poke of doom” thing didn’t help out Nash in any way, shape, or form. I‘m not blaming Nash for that, but it’s amazing that he was still, and still is, marketable in the wrestling industry.
I, for one, would like to see Nash write a book. Have him describe how he started out, what it was like in the WWF for him, and his true feelings on Hulk Hogan.
As it pertains to what Nash has done as of late, I don’t watch TNA, so I can’t give fair judgment.

Kip Sopp
 I will give Sean Walman credit where credit is due. At least Waltman has redeemable qualities. I’m sorry Tovo, but seriously, Billy Gunn? Ya know what everyone else you mentioned has in common? They can hold their own and then some as a singles wrestler. Let’s invent a time machine and see who else could we have teamed up with Jesse James to from the New Age Outlaws.
Monty Brown- This would have been gold. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! DX proudly brings to you the WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WOOOOOOOOOORLD!!! The Road Dogg Jesse James! My brother for another mother, the Alpha Male Monty Brown! The New Age Outlaws!!!!’
Tommy Dreamer- Just call him “Badass” Tommy Dreamer
Butters from Southpark- Can we say “Comedic Gold”? This would have been better than getting wasted and reading the scenes from a hat thread!

JBL
 But I will give the devil his due. JBL is the best thing to happen to SmackDown in a long time. Tovo, you did good when you chose this guy to be protected. Much like Hulk Hogan he wasn’t the best in the ring, but he got the job done anyways. Much like Bret Hart he always looked good when he sold a move. Much like Rowdy Roddy Piper he’s always entertaining behind the mic. Replacing Tazz with JBL was a great call by WWE.
But let’s look at what he has done. US Champion that put Lashley Over, Wwe Champ that put Rey over, he had an awesome feud with Eddie, the APA are my all time favorite tag team, and let’s not forget he’s a self made millionaire and a published author without a ghost writer. This guy went from having less than 20 bucks on him and turned himself into a finical wizard.
I have so much respect for JBL. He has marketed himself very well (don’t mention Germany) and to this day he’s one of the better things that SmackDown has going (which either means he’s that awesome, or SmackDown isn’t that great… I say a little of both).




So Tovo, that’s my two cents, as if you give a fuck. Do what you will with them. I’m not going to call you an asshole for neg repping anyone who talks a little trash about your favorite wrestlers, even if it’s the truth. I have my own list of wrestlers that I can do the same thing with, but let’s face it…. Billy Gunn? You reeaaaaaaalllllyyyyy picked a winner there.
