Kane v. The Great Khali - This will probably be the first match of the evening, and as such the one match of the night that has the most "BOOOOOORING!" chants. Look for both men to get very physical and not back down from one another, even for a moment of this match. Hopefully it will be a somewhat short match. Look for Khali to get the pin with either the Brain Chop or his Tree Slam.
Winner: The Great Khali.

8-Man Tag Team Match:
ECW Originals (Capt. Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Sandman & Tommy Dreamer) v. New Breed (Capt. Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn, Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker) - I think this one has all the potential, despite being an ECW match, to be one of two sleeper matches that could catch the crowd by surprise and give them some really exciting back-and-forth, in your face, smashmouth action. Look for plenty of gratuitous violence and innovative moves from both sides, and look for either local Rob Van Dam, or the other local in this match, Sabu, to pick up the victory for the ECW Originals.
Winners: The ECW Originals.

“The Battle of The Billionaires”:
Donald Trump’s Representative, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley v. ‘Mr.’ Vince McMahon’s Representative, Umaga, with Special Referree “Stone Cold” Steve Austin - This match will be mildly interesting though in my estimation not all that great. Look for a 10-minute match or so max, followed by a McMahon hair shaving following Lashley's victory with
his version of the Dominator (which is really just the Running PowerSlam...)
Winner: Donald Trump via Bobby Lashley.

$“MONEY IN THE BANK” $ 8-Man Ladder Match
(Randy Orton v. ‘Mr.’ Ken Kennedy v. Finlay v. Matt Hardy v. Jeff Hardy v. King Booker v. C.M. Punk v. Edge) - Not to take anything away from Kennedy’s meteoric rise, but I believe once people start cancelling each other out (i.e., The Hardy's, Booker & Finlay, and Edge & Orton), we'll be left with C.M. Punk and Kennedy, and that's when Punk applies every ounce of determination he's got to grab the contract in the briefcase suspended above the ring.
Winner: C.M. Punk.

Lumberjill Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Melina :::©::: v. Ashley - This could be a relatively short Women's title match, but unless Ashley can somehow pull off a miracle, look for Melina to retain the gold.
Winner: Melina.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
WWE United States Championship Match: Chris Benoit :::©::: v. “M.V.P.” (Montel Vontavious Porter) - This was the other match I thought could be a sleeper match, not just because of the star power of Chris Benoit, but also because of the very real possibility of an M.V.P. upset, however, look for M.V.P. to get frustrated more and more as the match goes on, and losing by DQ because of a weapon attack.
Winner: Chris Benoit (DQ)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
WWE Championship Match: John Cena :::©::: v. “Heartbreak Kid” (and D-Generation X member,
) Shawn Michaels - So finally the two World Tag Champs meet up for the REAL gold here at Mania. Look for a great back and forth match and possibly more support for Cena than for Michaels due to his attack on Cena at the end of RAW last Monday, and be sure to watch out for Shawn's deadly right foot again as it wins the WWE title for him with Sweet Chin Music.
Winner, and *NEW* WWE Champion: Shawn Michaels.

WRESTLEMANIA 23 MAIN EVENT
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Batista :::©::: v. The Undertaker - Finally! The match we've all been waiting for for a month and a half. It all comes down to this moment, and promises to be the most intense main event of a WrestleMania than we've seen in a WHILE. Look for this match to go close to a ½-hour, and after a hard-fought struggle, look for Undertaker to pick up his 5th World title in WWE after the Tombstone Piledriver puts Batista 6-feet under at WrestleMania.
Winner, and *NEW* World Heavyweight Champion: The Undertaker.
