Bryan Alvarez reported on his "Bryan and Vinny" online show on www.f4wonline.com that Ashley Massaro was in tears after her match at WrestleMania. She knew it was an awful match and was quite upset about it afterwards.

All her matches since I've been watching her have sucked. The poor thing shouldn't have been put in the position she was, though. They really had a feud with Mickie James on the go that they could have used. Fuck, thrown in Victoria and Jillian Hall for whatever reason, and you'd have had a women's match for the ages.

I think that might have been part of the reason. I think a bigger part was that the WWE just thought people would be more likely to buy the event if there were more women on it.

Yea it was just to get all the divas on wrestlemania, for them and for the hopes of more buys. It had little to do with helping the actual match, since if I remember correctly the lumberjills only got involved once. Then the big postmatch brawl.

Never said Ashley and Michelle were hotter though. I'd prefer a woman the pace of Maria or Mickie James, or Candice. They're not built like men, and they also have some curves and meat on their bones.
I don't find Victoria to be hot. I find her to be attractive if she wasn't so masculine built. She's got a jaw line like American Dad, her shoulders are wider than her hips, and she has more defined muscles than any woman should.

I agree. I still don't understand why they didn't make it a 3 way match with Mickie vs. Melina vs. Ashley. Mickie adding the little element of "wrestling" to the match could have carried it to something pretty entertaining.
