Is there anywhere in the US where WWE doesn't run?
So I was thinking about this last night.
Are there any states within the US that the WWE tend to just not promote in? As there are 50 states and 52 weeks in a year They promote in the UK, Japan and now Italy at least once a year for TV so that's 4 weeks gone There's Xmas so that's 5 weeks (well the troops show) Plus the Canada shows, I'm going to have a punt and say 3 a year (Toronta, Calgery and Montreal) So that leaves the US with 44 weeks and 50 states. Plus I know they tend to run new york more than once in a year. So are there any 'No Go' places for the WWE when it comes to putting on TV? I'm sure they do house shows all over the place, but not for TV THE OPTIMISTS! 'Seeing the light in bad booking' Current members: Dave Youell Alienoid06 Impact! The Optimist And our newest member: Helmsphere ![]() |

They run almost everywhere, I can't think of any off-hand, but they may not run one or two states. They've run Alaska and Hawaii, I know that.
Of course, even though there are only 52 (44 after overseas tours) weeks, they run at least 2 tapings a week, three if they have PPV, so it's more like 60-70 (roughly). |

I remember Missouri was a "no go" place for a while because some wrestlers had some tax issues there. I think that since they earned money there in the past, they had to pay the state taxes and there was some issues that had to be ironed out before they could wrestle again in the state. That was a few years ago, though. They've been back a few times recently, so everything must have worked out.

They didn't got to Oregon for a while. I think the state had barred them from holding wrestling events for a while or something of that nature. Not 100% sure though.

Vermont only gets house shows, and only since WWE's been forced to downsize. |

They had a Smackdown in Providence just the other week. And Armageddon 2005 was held there.
Doubt they'll be going to Kentucky for a while after last year's Backlash. |

Keep in mind they do have 52 weeks a year, but two different breands that don't always appear in the same state.
Until they started doing supershows, you'd see them in different states a lot. They probably still are now, but not to the same extent, and I can't be arsed to check. EDIT: Check, not care. If I didn't care, I wouldn't post the goddam statement. |

I hear they can't book in Florida, with the tremendous success of TNA.
