OBSERVATION: Political PPV theme song might be some trouble for JBL

Last time I read, Vince was a VERY hard-nosed conservative (one of the reasons why JBL was able to stay even after the goose step incident: Vince agreed with alot if not all of JBL's political views).

However, while I may be reading too much into this, and however minute or how much most of us may not give a shit, I enjoyed one PPV theme in particular, the one for Royal Rumble 2007, Rise Against's "Drones" (it's currently on my iPod).

Since my iPod can display lyrics of songs (provided you put them into the song's ID tag), I went and got the lyrics for the song Drones, when I noticed something very weird: The song was MEANT as a memorial to 9/11. Looking at it more, it would seem as though the lyrics (found at http://artists.letssingit.com/rise-a...drones-svthzg4) actually talk about how "important people" have forgotten about the victims. But investigating further, on their site http://www.riseagainst.com, and on many related YouTube user made videos for the songs, it's painfully clear that this band is anti-war, and DAMN sure anti-Bush. Basically meaning, for the first time in a LONG time, if ever, the WWE has picked a song deplicting a obviously liberal POV.

This might sound like it belongs to the discussion forum, but there might be wrestling aspects involved here. Remember the thing that JBL and Vince have the same viewpoints? What if Vince's viewpoint has changed since then, and what if the choosing of this song (c'mon, how many songs that came out then could've fit the Rumble 07 bill just as well) is saying such? Could it be that this means the status of JBL may not be so nailed down now that JBL has one less thing in common with Vince (remember the reason why he survived the goose step incident), and that he may want to be more careful now.

Just something I thought maybe needed some extra thought here. Mick Foley has been an outspoken Dem on WWE TV without incident, but he never used that (to my vantage point) to get what he wanted. JBL may have used HIS political views as a main reason why he should've been WWE champ for 11 straight months.

Or maybe I'm reading too much into this.
