Game endings you love
The first ones that come to mind for me:
  • KotoR 1 - Loved that you could choose. Was the first game I had played with a good/bad system that affected how the game went.
  • MGS 2 - Very long cutscenes but I loved the story. Pretty sure there were several hours of cutscenes alone in that game. Never beat any of the other MGS games so I can't comment on them.
  • Fable - Short game unfortunately, but again with the being able to choose. The ending was different depending if you went good or evil.
Those are the first ones I remembered, though I know I could think of more.
As far as games I have high hopes for:
  • Mass Effect - Another Bioware game (the makers of KotoR 1) This game isn't due out for a while but I have hopes that it is going to be one of the greatest RPGs ever created. It is free roaming with a main story and side quests, as well as dozens if not hundreds of planets to explore. The whole game is done in a very cinematic way, revolutionizing the way character speech is done, and how simple conversations can be made to look like cutscenes. VERY HIGH HOPES! It will also be a trilogy game they have already announced. So they have high hopes for their product too

Oh and the first MGS is alot better than 2 IMO

Just payed off the rest of my reserve on it yesterday. Word going around the net is that they are shooting for a June release. Maybe a little later. So I'm ready for this game.

My list.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Actually bright a tear or two to my eye. Hope they make another one off this.

Yakuza - I just finished this about week and a half ago. Very good story and ending.

I'll think of more.

The Legend Of Zelda i played on the N64 and on the cube had great endings 2.

I like the ending of FF7 and 8.

Come on. No way people on here are still falling for this.

Metal Gear Solid was the first game I thought of. And I couldn't really come up with any other games beyond that. I tried to think of games I really liked and then think of the ending but most of them I either had a hard time remembering or just thought they were alright.

I really liked FF 10 and FF10-2's ending.
FF 12's ending was a letdown.

I don't play a lot of videogames...so that's pretty much it ending-wise for me.

Final Fantasy VI, VII, and VIII are the three best endings for the Final Fantasy games.

Yeah, God of War had a great ending. Somewhat predictable, but very good. The game itself was enough of a build-up for the end.

Zelda OoT was nice.

GTA SA was good too.

Fahrenhiet, Now that was great. I think you could have three different endings depending on how the final battle played out. One was perfect future, one was normality but with a sense dread and the other was completely bleak.
