Although this probably won't be appreciated...
My friends and I have done FYW (Front Yard Wrestling) for years and we had Wrestlefest 12 a month or two ago. We used to do it when we were like 14 years old and we thought we were hot shit. Now we do it to hang with friends and uphold tradition. It's about a 5 minute highlight video. See if you can guess which one is me.

I have to say (begrudgingly) that that was enjoyable.

We've been doing this for over 6 years on and off and not one person has gotten hurt ever. Honestly, I'm not going to sit here and say that it can't happen because it can but you're severely dramaticizing the situation. You're making it sound like we're busting each other on cement. We are on a lawn. A soft, squishy lawn. We are not running around wrecklessly and carelessly throwing each other around. Alot of the moves we do are less force and more about reacting. I refuse to sit here and defend and condone backyard wrestling to you guys because it's clearly a losing battle but seriously, you are blowing things way out of proportion. I have seen many 'yard tards' before try to impress everybody by busting glass over peoples heads, getting thrown off the roof, and getting dropped on their heads countless times. As you can see, none of that is featured in this video. And if at times the moves look sloppy, it is because we are doing them in a way that protects us from harm. In retrospect, compare some of the BYW videos to this one and you'll realize that everything is much more tame and more about acting and reacting.

Considering how the moves are sold, I'm shocked nobody's been hurt before. Go get some training man. There's gotta be somewhere in travelling distance from where you are. Just don't mention the backyard stuff.
