Transformers the Movie: ...The Game
I'll get the obvious out of the way and say the wasted potential is on par with Superman Returns: what it does right it does great, but it seems like they focused on little details at the expense of an entire game. There's a transform animation while drifting and it looks great, but it's wasted potential. Especially compared to...

THE DS VERSION.

Go buy the damn thing, this is how a TF game should be. I'd easily rank it as one of the better DS games. Collecting forms gets addicting as you try to find every vehicle. You can assign what form you want any time during Freeplay Mode and choose colors even; making it the closest to a Create-a-TF we'll ever see. The voice-over is more appreciated here than the console versions, and you still get to play as the stars of the movie (you mostly play as a jobber you get to name). I can't believe I'm enjoying a portable version of a game while being disappointed in the console game. If the console version used the DS gameplay, it'd be awesome. Hell, it has multiplayer on top of a nice game. The console only has 'Watch-Me Player', where your friends can watch you play the game. The Wifi portion seems like a bad idea... Couldn't they have just made the deathmatch games online?

I have the Decepticon version, which I haven't played since my DS is mysteriously missing. I've been playing my friend's Autobot version.

i rented it yesterday. the camera sucks, the driving sucks, and the fighting sucks. the game sucks. however i will force myself to beat it though.

wow, this game is SO FUCKING STUPID. it really does not make me want to see the movie AT ALL. i am done with this game.

I was disapointed with the 360 version after I beat the autobots story in 3 hrs.....I have heard the Decepticons is shorter....

Ill probably be playing it in a little bit...if not then after the movie tonight when I cant fall asleep.

I dont think its horrible...its just one of those games where you should rent or hope to find it for like $10

The DS WIFI game is immense. You get a daily mission and you contribute to your sides war depending on which game you bought. The missions are fairly varied and just the fact you're involved in one massive battle is damn FUN!

I found my DS and I'm 30-something percent in the game. Seeing the 'Cons interact with each other makes me wish they got more screen time in the movie (which is awesome if you haven't seen it). Blackout has a cool dark voice that we'll never hear in the movie, and I can't tell if Keith David is voicing Barricade in he film as he is in the game.

I played the 360 version after seeing the movie and it's almost bearable coming out of the theater and wanting to be apart of the movie. But that feeling won't last long and I'm already contemplating what to get from the 360 game's return to the store.

Im picking up the Decepticons version this weekend when we have a sale going on at work.

Cant wait to play it...you guys talking about it has made me really want to play this game.

I want to play the DS version, but don't want to spend money renting it. It looks pretty good for a movie game on the DS.
