Microsoft Word 2000 Question
When I open Microsoft Word to type a document, and I go to the
'File' button on the top and click it,it shows a list of saved docu- ments. For example: 1 Hello 2 Goodbye 3 Whatever Now,documents 1 and 2 still work, but document 3 I have already deleted. When I click on it,it says "The document name or path is not valid. Try these suggestions: *Check the file permissions for the document or drive. *Use the file locator dialogue box to locate the document." What do I do to get the name of the file removed from that list since it isn't there anymore?? Any help would be appreciated ![]() |

Go to Tools> Options> General and there is an option called "Recently Used File List" a dropdown number box by it...reduce the number.
