Bret Hart chair shot to Hulk Hogan in WCW 1999
I remeber something about Bret coming out at the end of the match and he held a chair up with Hogan in the corner. There's was all this fuss about "oh my god! Who's he going to hit?!" etc... it then went off the air.

The next week, it showed "bonus footage" or Hart smacking Hogan with the chair... Hart then cut a promo about how Hogan and Hart were to two biggest names in pro wrestling, and they had never had a proper match. He challenged Hogan to a match and then it just kinda stopped dead.

Am I missing something here? Someone fill me in on if anything come out of that.

Wasn't Bret Hart already concussed though (and wasn't aware of the severity of it)? I remember him doin an interview where he said wheneva he was pullin for the match that Hogan would shoot it down. I distinctly rememba him sayin "I never got over it. And I am gonna make him pay, and pay, and pay. Even if it isn't inside of a wrestling ring." Maybe the match woulda happened if he didn't have to retire.
