10 Things I liked about Raw. *Raw Spoilers*
Ignore the crap title name.
I just wondered if anyone else thought this weeks Raw was good? A few things I liked about it- 1) The opening segment was good. Kennedy and Carlito's banter was amusing. Cena made some corny jokes which took the edge off it but it was good to see them both being put next to WWE's golden boy. 2) Whilst the womens match wasn't a spectacular, at least the better team won. 3) It was nice to see them linking 2 segments together with Santino Marella. Normally everything has its own slot and as one ends another begins, the transition between the womens match and the Umaga segment was refreshing. The ref speaking was novel too. 4) Daivari speaking in his native tongue was intrieging and a little odd. The match between him and Cody was good, and Cody has some wrestling talent which is nice. 5) Mr Kennedy gets his first win on Raw, and against Lashley. Ok so Lashley is injured but at least they let Kennedy put him out and not let Umaga squash Kennedy or something. Kennedy worked the injury well and gained some heat. An entertaining match. 6) I quite like the King Booker / Jerome Lawlyer feud. I know its only filler to give Triple H a ready built fued for his return but it could be worse. Although it could be better. 7) I was a little annoyed that they have several taleneted tag teams backstage and they put Cryme Time up against two unknowns. Raw is the flagship show, unknown people should not be on there. To be on Raw you are meant to be the best of the best and, with no offence to the unknown guys, they aren't. The Cryme Time segment afterwards was quite funny but ran quite long and that time could have been used better IMO. That said it was entertaining. 8) Randy Ortons match with Sergent slaughter was an obvious squash from the off. That said I do like the way they are booking Randys character its a shame there arent any better legends for him to go over. 9) Cena lost a match. Randy's 'run in' at the end was comical to watch but it gives Carlito a win against Cena which is a good thing. Randy staying out at ringside was predictable but adds to his character. 10) Cena lost a match. Yeah I know I've said this before but its so important I thought I'd say it twice. Discuss... Quote:

I loved Raw this week. Especially the two big upsets. Kennedy was awesome.

Daivari always used to speak Farsi, back when he managed Hassan.

When you have to include things like
2) Whilst the womens match wasn't a spectacular, at least the better team won. On your list, you're pretty much fucked. |

The #1 thing I liked about RAW last Monday was that I didn't watch it. Instead I sat in a corner and thought back on times when people had accidentally called me by a different name...
On a related note, some of my sitting and thinking was aired on CPBS (Cheap Public Broadcasting System) and I got nearly twice the ratings RAW did. |

Just watching this. Fair play to Jerry Lawler. Unlike most people his age, he's still capable of having a realistic-ish looking match. He's in better shape than Flair, that's for sure.

Yeah, I noticed that The King was in decent ring shape as well. His movement was fluid and he just looked good all around.

Well King still wrestles like every week in Memphis. So he is in good shape.

King could wrestle full time and get so many guys over.
