Basketball
I finally got myself an X-Box 360. The only thing is I want a basketball game for it for some reason.

The issue is I don't know what would be considered the best game to get at the current moment so I'm looking for recommendations/suggestions for a good game to get for the system so I don't waste money on a piece of crap that I'd think about throwing away.

Def a 2k Sports B-Ball game. While EA Sports is the King of Football they are dissapointing when it comes to b-ball.

I'd say 2k, but you would probably prefer Backyard Basketball, since there are so many little kids in it.
