Eddie/Malenko

I just bought this DVD and I must say, it has some of the greatest matches I've seen on it.

Best Match on the DVD, hands down, is Eddie Guerrero vs. "The Shooter" Dean Malenko, Best 2 out of 3 Falls. It was both of their last matches in ECW and it was "to see who was the better man". It is weird to hear the chants of "Eddie Eddie Eddie Eddie" back in 1995. The match was it all, mat wrestling, lucha moves, high impact moves, and submission. If you want to see pure wrestling at it's finest, see this match.

Absolutely, that is without a doubt one of the finest performances by two wrestlers that I've ever seen. It wasn't just the excellent psychology, and the variety of moves. But the execution and interactions between both men were nearly flawless. Every move flows so well. The match was executed nearly perfectly.

Watch this match, and you will automatically become a fan of both men.

Definately a 5star match.

I'll main event Wrestlemania! you see me you're outta luck.....

I know they've got it on one of the "Best of ECW" tapes floating around somewhere. Damned if I knew which one, though. I saw it once in a video store (but didn't have the money to buy it) and have been looking for it ever since.

Anyways, if you're looking for another classic performance from Eddie at his very best, I highly recommend WCW's match of the year from 1997, the Title-vs-mask match against Rey Mysterio, Jr. from Halloween Havoc. This was easily the best lucha-libre match I have ever seen, and since (at the time) nobody knew what Rey looked like under the mask, and Eddie was one of the hottest heels in the company, it had a TON of drama in it.

Yeah...Eddie and Malenko, Malenko is in IMO a very good wrestler, and the matches Eddie and Malenko have had together were all from good quality

Shit, I can't remember the name of the ECW dvd i bought it on. I know it was the second "best of" DVD that they put together. It also has RVD winning the TV tite from BamBam and an awesome match between Tajiri, Psycosis, and Jerry Lynn i believe. I'll found out the name when i get home and post it later today.

I remember a tape on ECW Home Video I wanted to get but never got around to called the "Malenko-Guerrero Classic" which may have been on similar lines. Those two could work. I remember Highlights of that encounter, and I can't help but think that Guerrero/Angle is going to rule everything that is possible to rule, even a couple of things that one can't possibly rule.

The RVD/Bam Bam match was great, it was one of the matches which made RVD The Whole Fucking Show

The 3 way dance was unbelievable, lucha libre vs. american cruiserweight vs. japanese style wrestling.

Another great match would be Sandman vs. Sabu in the Stairway to Hell Match, basically it was a ladder match with barbed wire on the top, after you get it you can use it. Sabu ended up breaking his jaw towards the end of the match

That's one of the most brutal things I've ever seen. When Fonzy came in with the athletic tape to TAPE SABU'S JAW SHUT? Damn...

Yeah, the three way was awesome as well.

But Guerrero/Malenko was just flawless so it's gotta be my favorite on that DVD. It's pissing me off that I can't remember the name of the DVD though...

The 3 way was Jerry Lynn vs. Tajiri vs. Super Crazy

I forgot about the Psychosis vs. Rey Mysterio match on it. It was the first time the lucha style was ever seen in America, and watching as Joey Styles tried to call the moves is a sight.

*Chris Jericho vs. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Pitbull #2 vs. Shane Douglas
*Rob Van Dam vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
*Sabu vs. The Sandman (Stairway to Hell)
*Ian Rotten vs. Axl Rotten (Taipei Death Match)
*Jerry Lynn vs. Tajiri vs. Super Crazy
