Need a program for taking songs off my iPod and putting them on my computer
Yeah fairly certain I've posted a topic about this before, but I kinda need one now seeing as how my external hard drive decided to die, thusly taking all my music with it.

Got to love hardware/software that doesn't allow you access to your own library.
Anyway: http://www.engadget.com/2004/11/02/h...off-your-ipod/ |

Can't you also, just connect your IPOD to the PC, open the folder, which usually has the files hidden, then just click Folder Opens, show hidden files?
Or have they finally rided us of that? |

You can still do that (I can on my 3G), but all the files would need to be relabeled. And I think Blitz wouldn't want to do that

You can copy the files, but their file names become Hexadecimal, and there are no track tags IIRC. I can do it on my 80 GB, but it's not worth it. Fucking stupid how hard they are trying to fight to prevent people from moving music freely. Even dumber are the people who say it's not necessary. |
