Thinking about grabbing a PS3 or X-Box next payday and this is the one big reason I'd go PS3 just don't like the x-box controller for it.

Yeah, I was like that until my PS2 went funny and I've been playing on the XBox since PES4 now and it's 2nd nature. problem is, we've had to start playing the PC version at peoples houses so we can use whatever pad each of us prefers!

Anyways, the game is a massive improvement, especially in presentation. Dives are in and very hard to master (thankfully) but all the new animation for the next gen systems is stunning and because there are more moves the game plays better for it. Theres a lot of opening up the body by good strikers going for a tight angled, placed shot and watching the jaws drop of the opposition team or the keeper looking like he's about to cry the instant the ball hits the back of the net is pleasurable to watch

There better be a patch for online on launch day for the 360. Lagtastic would be putting it mildly, loads of teleporting players.

I intend to get it ASAP. And I intend to get a new system to go with it.

However, (as I said in another topic) I always download an Option File with all the correct jerseys/teams. Does anyone know if I'll still be able to do this on PS3 / 360??

Looks like it would be possible on 360 with an xsata (about £30), or failing that, with the 360 vision camera you can scan in club logos and sponsers yourself!

Got it on the PS2 - first time I've played PES more than the odd game at a mates house.

Having fun. Just playing a league with the lads on amateur level haha. Stole a two nil victory over Chelsea last night after they battered me. Super David Connolly.

Man had to transfer some players last night Danny Murphy still at Spurs and Solano still at the Mags were doing my head in. Plus did an overwrite of Stern John and made Jones for the lads. Even gave him an acrobatic celebration. Happy times editing. Even gave us red and white stripes and wrote Boyle Sports on the strip. It's the little things that keep me happy.

Its like this USB Key thing, you stick it into the PC, put the file on it, put it in the PS2, put in the CD and transfer it over to your memory card.

Dunno where you can get them from though, Play don't seem to have them.

What's the deal with the Master League? Just started ojne this week. Haven't bough or sold any players yet and am in the first transfer window. Any tips for playing the Master League?

Picked it up last week with my new PS3. Excellent game. I played an exhibition match - Australia vs. Italy - and have been scoring goals from WAY outside the box, almost half way. Haven't managed that on previous versions

Very rarely play it on my own though. Can't be beaten for multiplayer craic.

It's that much different than 07? Cause I heard not enough has changed to warrant a purchase.
The team behind the game are promising a radical overhaul for the game either this year or next. I'll try and hunt down a link.
